Great stay Stayed last week prior to a cruise. Excellent value for money. Big room, spotless White company soap etc and extra toiletries available if needed. Nice dinner in Marco Pierre white restaurant. Great breakfast. Nothing too much trouble, taxis ordered for the port on request. Highly recommended.

Disappointing Hotel in a good location. The Spa facilities were poor, the jacuzzi not working and sauna very small. It was difficult to regulate the temperature in our shower. Bar opening hours are not clear. Website states bar open until 00.30 however we were unable to order a drink or room service at 22.30 on a Friday night. Staff on bar and reception advised bar closed at 22.00 (23.00 on Saturdays). Disappointing end to our evening as we’d booked to stay here with friends to celebrate our son’s birthday. We’d been to the theatre and all we wanted was a nightcap to end the evening and discuss the play but hotel could not provide that. I was advised by management, when I emailed the hotel to query this, that the bar closed early that evening “due to business levels”.

It’s all a bit mediocre Decent parking, though it costs an additional £7 a night. Staff are fine. Mine main issue is the bathroom. Spots of black mould in places. The toilet seat was rickety. The shower wouldn’t provide any hot water and I was forced to use the hand shower in the bath. The gym is looking tired. Foam is falling off some of the machine handles and the rowers need some maintenance. The burger I had in the Marco Pierre White restaurant was overdone and lacked seasoning. The fries portion was small and the side salad I ordered was overdressed. Breakfast was adequate but no better than the budget hotel chains. Overall Leonardo needs some tlc.

Great rooms, spa needs improvement Beautiful, spacious room with a huge, comfortable bed. Very quiet and brilliant blackout curtains. Staff very helpful. The reason only 4 star is that the spa and pool did not match the website. Sauna and steam Room tiny as was the pool. There was also a spiral staircase to negotiate to get to the pool which was a bit nerve wracking. Unfortunately the pool was out of order when we arrived but could be used the following day, although it was chilly. That was fine for me as I wanted to swim but others dipped a toe in and disappeared! It looked as though the jacuzzi had been out of order for some time, although the website did mention this. Great to see a family changing room - this is so handy when your children are a different gender from you.

Happy with everything Really nice room with balcony. Two person bath with jacuzzi. All staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant very good
