Great hotel - awful time in history Was excited to book this hotel in an area we've stayed in before and found to be enjoyable. The hotel is on par with the quality of all Fairfields at which we've stayed - if not a little better. The disappointment hit when we got to our room and found the note that said something to the effect of "during COVID...." (the pandemic aspect of which is over even in the most restrictive areas), "....there will be no cleaning or linen service for stays under 5 days in length. Leave towels outside your room door and pick up new towels at the desk...." (not an exact quote, but it captures the essence - you get the idea). Now if we were staying only two nights, it might be ok not to have the room cleaned, etc. But after four nights, it was getting kinda dingy in there. Obviously, it's a staffing issue that all businesses are facing now, and not really COVID-based, but still frustrating. In spite of this, the skeleton crew of staff that were there were awesome. All of the common areas shined bright, the breakfast was put out every morning with a warm greeting and professionalism. I witnessed an idiot guest berating the desk clerk the last morning about not getting towels and how he was "a Gold Club Member" or some big feeling deal like that. She handled it with the utmost professionalism. I'd give the hotel a 5 if it weren't for this limited service mode they're in right now. I would not hesitate for a minute to stay here again.

Tough Stay! From reading the reviews, we thought that this would be a great stay, though sadly we were wrong. We travel frequently, and were so saddened to pay $200+ for ONE night for the quality of stay. The location was good, though the rooms were tiny with minimal amenities. The air conditioning was super loud, and we could not wait to leave the next morning. The lady at the front desk was busy texting on her cell phone, so we were not greeted either time we walked by. Step it up, Marriott....as Bonvoy members, we expect better, much better.

Traveling through Traveling through on our trip, had a terrible time making reservations, wouldn’t take them over the phone, very unprofessional and unfriendly, transferred us to reservations, what a joke, waited 16 minutes, then could barely understand the Represenative. The room is another joke! Barely big enough to turn around in, plain Jane, blah, chintzy on the accessories, noisy air conditioning. Pathetic for the price. Fairfield Inn has gone down in our books!

An overall positive experience. We stayed here for 1 night, as we were closing on our new home in Fairhope. The location is very convenient to lots of shopping, food and I-10. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had an overall positive experience.

Nice Stay This is a very nice hotel. Close to the I-10, restaurants & shopping. Less then 15 min drive to Fairhope. Very quiet place & staff friendly. The only thing I wish was there was a microwave in the room. But otherwise I would stay here again.
