Perfect for Me! On a quick weekend trip, I opted for a stay close to the airport and the metrolink. It was my first trip to the river city, and all went well. This hotel was perfect. Comfortable room (great shower, excellent bed), coffee in the lobby, breakfast that filled me up, and a quick and reliable shuttle to the very nearby airport. As a single female traveler, I felt perfectly safe and welcome here. Everyone, from the front desk, to the shuttle drivers, to the breakfast chefs, to housekeeping, were great! Bonus; a fabulous BBQ joint is a short stroll away!

I would stay here again. Friendly staff. Comfort room with microwave and refrigerator. Convenient location with easy access to freeways. Small, but adequate fitness room. Standard buffet breakfast. Comfort bed, however the pillows were too soft for me. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice stay after a tiring day of driving Everything about our stay was wonderful- it started with our check-in with Kia. She’s extremely professional as well as kind and thoughtful. Our room and beds were very comfortable, the shower is great and we loved the hot breakfast. A wonderful experience.

Avoid restaurant if possible The hotel was clean and accommodating. But breakfast at the restaurant was awful. The pancakes were undercooked, service was slow. I prefer to leave good reviews on places most of the time since so many reviews lean negative. But I had to point that out.

Chile-WHAT A MESS/GOOD MESS When I pulled up to the hotel, I was a bit hesitant because I realize it was in the heart of the airport. It was super busy when I got there-first thing I smelled is hell of weed-which to each is own, not judging. The gals working were ABSOLUTELY FRIENDLY (Denise? and Juana)! Checked in-went to my room AND AS SOON AS I OPEN THE DOOR IT SMELLED AWFUL! It was a mix of old musty basement that has mold in it with a mix of urine plus add an old man wearing Old Spice over funk-it was bad. Hallways smelled like a entire weed dispensary. I immediately went back down to the front desk and let them know. They were on top of it. No other rooms were available-even around the area, so Juana and I went back up for her to smell the room. She sprayed it with two different sprays to mask the smell but it was STRONG! I left for most of the evening. When I came back the smell was a mess. I cut the air on to circulate the air. It helped enough for me to deal with it over night however, I woke up to very red, irritated eyes and stuffed up nose. LET'S KEEP IN MIND-I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE INDIVIDUAL WHO COMPLAINS about too much in this lifetime but this was bad. The room was very outdated-carpet/furniture/tv was from the 90's. Bathroom was outdated HOWEVER IT WAS CLEAN AT BEST! That being said, it was not a pleasant stay. I travel frequently all over and thus far this was not the best experience HOWEVER-STAFF MADE UP FOR IT. That morning, I went downstairs to let them know and the manager August already knew the situation and accommodated me with much professionalism. That being said, I appreciate the staff for accommodating the experience. It will not stop me from ever going to another Wingate! I have been to some very awesome Wingate hotels around the US! Not at work today because I still feel crappy but hey, I am alive! Hope they solve the issue so no one else will have to endure that!
