First ocean experience! We loved it!! My husband had never been to the ocean. I wanted him to be as close as we could get. This B & B is it!
We stayed three nights in the Windjammer room at the cottage. Large room with an extra room set up like a small living room, it was clean and bright. The bathroom was very small with a stand up shower only. But served its Purpose.
Cindy and Andrea we both so sweet serving us breakfast and making sure we had everything we needed. They both made sure to treat each guest so special and remind us we were on vacation. Meeting the other guest at breakfast was so interesting. Several guest we met had been here may times and all loved it there.
We used the pool many times, which is in a good private area surrounded by foliage.
There is ample seating and lounge chairs but only one umbrella. (two more would make this perfect) The location to the beach is just a short walk down the boardwalk right next to the house. They also have umbrellas and chairs for the beach you can borrow while you are there.
While we were sitting outside we met the owners and their sweet dog Lucy.
My overall review: I would suggest you stay here for its close proximity to the beach, the cleanliness, friendly and caring staff!
Suggestions to owners: Clothes/towel drying rack in the rooms.
CANT WAIT UNTILL OUR NEXT STAY!

RELAXING B&B Right on the beach! Just walk the boardwalk over the dunes - enjoy the sunrise and a quiet, not crowded beach. The breakfast here is outstanding, and you can enjoy it from your table overlooking the ocean. The common area is rich and relaxing with plenty of reading material in case you forgot to bring a book (or just finished the one you brought!). The main B&B building is surrounded by plenty of green space, a private pool, shaded seating area and an enclosed hot tub. For your evening meal, there are several nice restaurants a short walk up the beach or down the street.
Choose this place - you won't be sorry!

Nice place for a few nights. I'll start with the worst. For such a nice, expensive B&B, the breakfasts are absolutely terrible. Just read through some reviews 5 years back and apparently, they have done nothing to change that, and that is sad. Because this is a lovely, very clean B&B that we enjoyed so much, except for the frozen sausage, dry toast and bland scrambled eggs. We've stayed at MANY B&Bs even less expensive that have gourmet breakfasts. Try a little, ok? But the place is clean, the staff (especially the morning staff who make and serve the lousy breakfasts) is really very nice, professional and try to please. We loved the proximity to the beach, and I love going to the ocean in the winter. The view from the breakfast room is absolutely wonderful. Most all the rooms are roomy with at least a 'partial' ocean view and I mean partial. We had good directions on how to enter the building, must visit their sister hotel first, etc etc. We'd go back except for the expense, the breakfasts are just nothing to look forward to. Those 'free' breakfasts at HI Express are better than these. But overall, I'd recommend this place if you want to be close to the ocean.

Romantic and relaxing We spent 4 lovely and relaxing nights in the lower room of the beach house. We enjoyed the privacy and roominess of the room, with access to the main living area upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms were charming. The glasses in sunroom had a lovely sea view. Andrea, Cindy, and Lily made us delicious and filling a breakfast every morning. They had wonderful suggestions for things to do & see and restaurants. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. The boardwalk was a quick walk to the beach. One word of advice, if you’re going to walk in the beach at night, be sure to mark, or otherwise keep up with the beach entrance to the boardwalk. The Beachfront B&B was definitely a romantic stay. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.
