n/a The girls at the front desk were amiable and helped you in any way they could. Always smiling and friendly. The rooms were very nice, the bath soap leaves your skin super soft. Breakfast was good. The whole place is spotless and cozy, and the people who work are friendly and polite.

A fine place to stay. A fine establishment for an economical stay in a tourist town. We stayed for one night on a road trip back from North Carolina. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice staff. All the things one would expect from a Best Western. Parking was a little tight, but the staff helped us find a spot.

Sad experience Floors in our room were DIRTY. Grossed us out. Brought it to attention of front desk person, who said that floors were just refinished about a week earlier, and it was possible the dye they used was not completely dry yet. When batteries went out on our TV remote control, I brought it to office. They returned it a little while later, and it only worked for about another hour, and then went out again. Probably replaced them with other, old batteries. At least it happened on our last day there. First time I ever did not tip housekeeping at all after hotel stay. Daily breakfast was only OK. Guess I got what I paid for.

Dirty rooms The first room smelled horrible and there was hair all over the shower wall and the toilet had pubic hair and urine on the rim. I requested another room and although it was slightly better, there still was hair on the bathroom floor. Very disappointed and disgusting experience

Not best western, just western. And West of what who knows Paper thin walls. Spent most of the evening listening to the people next door talk and play music. Even had our TV on and could still hear them. Room looked recently remodeled. The floors were hard laminate, which is nice if they had ever been mopped. Socks were black from walking around without shoes. If you can stay here cheap it might be worth it, but they need to remove "best" from the sign and just call it western. Oh and it's historic because it's old, that's it nothing historical about it other than it was probably built in the 50's.
