Sad to see it go My wife and I just stayed the night out here for Valentines day. It was a ghost town because the property was just auctioned off and purchased by a new developer for $6 million. I hope they can revitalize this property that has so much history. The place is still pretty cool and has a great indoor/outdoor pool section. With 18 acres, a golf course, convention center, and shops, I would anticipate a great place to "re-open" in the future.

Wow This place was not what I was expecting. Walking into the lobby I noticed how outdated everything is, which is fine, however I felt more comfortable putting my stuff on the dirty carpet because the furniture was thick with dirt. Walking through the hotel to get to the elevator I was cringing hoping my room would be a pleasant change of scenery. I was very wrong. While the bedding seems to be clean, I feel dirtier getting out of the shower than going in. The toilet must have leaked at some point causing the wall to heave out and leave a substance on the floor behind the toilet. The shower had missing caulking and maybe half of the shower head jets work because they’re clogged with calcium build up. I’m hoping my husband will want to change hotels tomorrow because 4 days here will be torture. Good thing I hear this place is closing.

Abandon your Reservation before it's too late! We've stayed here about once a year for the last 4 or 5 years and it has gone dramatically downhill. We waited 55 minutes for our food at the restaurant here. When we left the show, all the restaurants, all the bars, were closed and it wasn't even 11 p.m. The place is closing mid-January, but it might as well be closed now. Very disappointed... cancel your reservation and go somewhere else. The people work really hard but somebody up there in administration is making the decision to keep the place open even thought they are closing this place in less than a month.....giving no support to the bartender's, the cooks, and the waiters and waitresses. The people were wonderful but even the vending machines are empty. It's basically closed.

Disappointed I usually don’t write negative reviews, but it was just one thing after another here. Stayed in a tower room. It was clean, but worn. Had a weekend planned with the kids. Dinner, show and a bunch of holiday activities that were listed on the website for the date we were staying. Show, cancelled. Activities, not happening. No explanation, no apology. Oh ya, 11.25 for a drink at the bar.....terrible

Went way downhill This place was top notch now it’s like a cut rate hotel. It’s on par with a motel 6 at twice the money. Leak in ceiling, wallpaper coming off the wall. Filthy shower and shower head. Big crack in sink. No water in rooms on Thursday. Stained furniture, lamp shades and carpet. Lobby areas were old and worn out. Rips in chairs and carpets. Terrible parking. STAY AWAY. The only good thing was the harvest restaurant
