Quality Inn Saint George South Bluff

Terribly Dirty Room Positives: Front desk personnel friendly, professional. Overall facility seemed nice, bed comfortable, good breakfast. Negatives: My wife accidently dripped a little ice cream on the hard floor near the sink. She wiped the ice cream spots with a damp wash cloth and was shocked to see the wash cloth completely black with dirt and filth. We then noticed the entire hard floor was sticky and gross. Other parts of the room were filthy such as headboards above the beds being greasy from people's heads against them while sitting up watching TV or something. Next morning, the filthy wash cloth was shown to the front desk woman who then said housekeeping would deep clean our room. Returning in the evening, we see the floor still sticky and again, a wash cloth was wiped across the floor and came up filthy. NO deep cleaning had been done! At check-out the next morning, we told the same front desk woman that deep cleaning had NOT been done and she inspected the room herself. She stated that orders for deep cleaning had been ignored. She contacted the manager to request one nights room payment be refunded to us. However, the manager would only refund 20% of the total 2 nights. We felt this very unfair. We stay in St. George, Utah often but will NOT be staying at the Quality Inn St. George South Bluff hotel again.

Never again! Would not stay here again. First of all the room key wouldn't work after pulled everything out of the car. Had to go back to lobby and the clerk (who wasn't happy to see us come back) came to the room and couldn't fix it so we had to move to another room further away from our car. The room was just okay. The so called breakfast was the worst we had on a 21 day trip and staying in lots of hotels. Don't stay here unless you have to!!!

This place is a DIVE ______ This place is a D I V E and looks NOTHING like the pictures… hot tub was nice, pool was bright green and had garbage in it. Also last minute fees added on here. Will not be coming back ever. Kinda ruined the trip to be honest.

Super room at super price Free parking. SUPER price. SUPER breakfast. At walking distance to fast food restaurants. Fast and accurate check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Coffee machine and fridge in the room. Old bathtub. 1hr to Zion by car.

Excellent value and friendly When I read these bad reviews it’s strange to me because it’s nothing like the experience we had. We spent two nights in this hotel because a member of my family was getting medical treatment nearby. The hotel was half the price of others in the same category. I paid $53 a night for a room with two beds. I asked for a quiet ground floor room with parking adjacent and they accommodated my wishes. The desk clerk was pleasant. The room had two beds with upgraded bedding and a small table and chairs. There were reading lights by the bed. Typical bathroom nothing fancy. I was unable to watch TV the first night because the previous guest had unplugged the DIRECTV and I couldn’t figure out how to plug it back in but it was no big deal. The next morning I called and asked someone to fix it and they were there quickly. And the room was clean and orderly. My bed was comfortable. The air conditioning unit was a little loud but it didn’t keep me awake. There is a mini fridge. It’s not in the best part of St. George but it’s fine and the town is small so it’s easy to get around. There is a Burger King across the street and a Denny’s nearby. I did not have time to check out the pool. If I were in town and just wanted a clean comfortable place to stay that was inexpensive I would definitely choose this hotel again.
