Good place to stay for a night or two. This hotel was not a bad place to stay. Clean, unique, and staff was friendly but had some things I didn’t like about it. First the pool was closed to renovation also the TV did not work and the lock on the side of the building did not work so had to always enter from the front. Not a bad hotel and a 3 minute drive to town. Next time I will look for a place in town

Moldy Tub My company Booked me and Another construction Engineer here for a couple of weeks while on a fiber optic design project. With in the first hour of check-in her toilet wobbled from the floor and dirty toilet water flowed all over the small bathroom... Not horrible but bad ...they had it fixed in 30min My room, I take showers.... This night my lower back was hurting and was going to take a bath, plugged the tub, ran the water dropped a small towel in the water and while bending down to see it I see a ring of mold and mildew 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch wide at seam of the fiberglass where the tub meets the upper shower section. I go to the front desk and ask if it can be cleaned tomorrow and am told I need to fill out a request card to my room serviced...... This is after I show her the video I took of the tub. Not a great service response . My 2 cents is find someone else. Currently having corporate finding us other accommodations.

Second Chance at Quality Inn and the Last. I decided to give Quality Inn (St Ignace MI) another try since I had stayed at another in Gaylord which wasn't pleasant. As soon as I entered the hotel the smell of the scented plug-ins was immediate. The plug ins are toxic and trying to cover up other odors. I had asked for a rollaway but there was no room to set it up, our teenager used the mattress on the floor. (some hotels state that a Rollaway cannot fit into a particular room). The shower was broken, the handle just spun around, tried to fix it but wasn't successful. In the morning there was no hot water. We were told there was work being done in the hotel and certain rooms had the hot water shut off. The only good thing was a good breakfast. I spoke with the desk clerk and our whole cost of the room was refunded which was exemplary but simple changes need to be done.

St. Ignace Quality Inn This is an older hotel, but it is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful . The road next to the hotel leads to a park on the lake with a wonderful view of the Mackinac Bridge. Close to expressway, stores, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
