Best place to stay in downtown St. Peteresurg FL My daughter had her wedding in downtown St. Petersburg where nearly all the guests were traveling in from out of town and state and were staying for several days. Every single member of this entire staff is incredible. Traci and Ash who helped thought out this process and with the room block setup where so awesome! In addition to Traci and Ash, the entire staff was so curteous, friendly, flexible and customer service cannot be beat. I have not witnessed this customer service in a LONG time. Outside of my experience with this team, so many of our guests came up to me and complimented how great this hotel was and how nice the entire staff was. They are like this with everyone! The hotel is super clean, the suites were so reasonably priced, they were clean and roomy and having that space with children and elderly family members were a huge plus. The entire team were quick to respond and so so accommatding. Location is great too and the free breakfast and free ample parking was a huge plus. I have stayed in many different hotels in downtown St Pete but this one is by far the best. HIGHLY reccommend this hotel!!!!

Needs Improvement My friends and I appreciated the closeness of attractions and the hotels free breakfast, however, the rooms are in need of some... touching up? Lots of dust, sofa bed sheets were unable to be opened, and there was an odd stain in one of the drinking glasses.

Tired and worn The property is in need of renovation, mostly the indoors. The furniture was worn and looks like it came from IKEA. The soap at the sink in the bathroom was through a dispenser, which was empty. The mattress on both beds were stiff and did not give an inch. After the first nights sleep, I hurt everywhere. My husband and I had to go to Walmart the next day and purchase a 3" memory foam pad. It did the trick, but we spent $68 just so I could sleep. We are seasoned travelers and this was by far the worst mattress I experienced. The property had no ice machines, also a first. My husband had to go to the front desk and talked to a house keeper who went in the back and filled a pitcher. It is a good location if traveling to see a baseball game as it is a short walk from Tropicana Field. The only hotel in the area with that convenience. One other nice amenity was hors d'oevres and free beer and wine Monday-Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 PM. I did not utilize the free breakfast, but my husband did. He did say there was quite a bit to choose from.

Perfect for ball game! Perfect hotel if you are catching a game at Tropicana field. Easy walk to the field with lots of dining also a short walk away. Loved the free parking and one of the best free hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Also complimentary laundry! Hard to find any faults with this hotel at all. Four out of five stars because rooms could use a deep cleaning. Would stay again!

Highly Recommend If I could give more stars I would!!! From the friendly staff to the AMAZING breakfast buffet everything was just amazing!!!! My niece was having surgery at the John Hopkins so my sister booked a room there we normally stay at the Hampton but this time we stayed at Staybridge and let me tell you it did Not Disappoint!!! I can only use Dove products because of my sensitive skin and I had forgotten my products and had to go buy some welp they had dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion saving me not only time but money!!! The fact that it is just 2 blocks away from the children's hospital was a HUGE plus!!
