Immaculate I have been to SoF a couple of times and visited all the key hotels and towns. Before coming to Airelles, we stayed at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc. And I should say that Hotel Du Cap is so overrated. I was disappointed with our stay in the sense that the hype is so big but it was not worth the money. Airelles was our last stop and I was pleased with the experience A LOT. Key benefits: 1) the place itself is BEAUTIFUL. No more words are needed. 2) two beautiful pools. We began our day at the main pool and then after 18 moved to another which is located at the hillside. During our whole stay in SoF this time we were in the mood for total relaxation so we barely moved and went out to party etc. And these two pools, service, food, and drinks were just what we needed. We were even too lazy to go to the hotel's beach club - this is how good we felt. I forgot the name of the waiter but there was a blonde French guy who was the nicest! Attentive and sweet. 3) the amenities. I am easy to be impressed by such things. once you come to the room you are gifter resort-like amenities e.g. bag, hat, PJs, make-up bag. I fell into this move haha and took everything home although I barely do this when I stay somewhere. 4) the breakfast - perfection. so diverse (except for the annoying bees but it is not their fault) 5) the transfers to the city etc. although i would say the stay in this hotel it is kind of a Maldivian service experience. i think you may easily stay there for a week without leaving the hotel premises. 6) the restaurants: you have two restaurants - the main one near the pool with Italian-like cuisine as far as I remember (I was not a big fan of this one - the menu list is not really long something like pastas, carpaccios, seabass, and etc - quite classy but boring menu) another one is Matsuhisa which was really nice although the wait may be long (esp. for cocktails) but keep it in mind that the place is full every day. The only issue to be aware of is: The price and room sizing. Please keep in mind that the room prices are far above average. We had our 50 sqm suite (which is actually just a room) for almost the price of the 120 sqm Bulgari Signature Suite in Bulgari Hotel Dubai. I know that we were not the only ones surprised but I think this is a SoF pricing cause the other two hotels (Hotel-du-Cap and Lily of The Valley) where we stayed this summer are of the same price.

Loved!! Loved our stay at the Chateau de la Messardiere. The property is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views. Not easy to walk to from downtown St. Tropez but the hotel has shuttles on demand. Service is impeccable and the food excellent. We were there for a wedding and it was magical. Our room/suite was large with an expansive terrace overlooking one of the pools. Layout was perfect and amenities super luxurious. I do feel however that the rooms need to be updated. But overall highly recommend.

SO VERY SAD AND DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED Im very sad with the experience I just had in Messardiere. I go every year, EVERY SINGLE year back with my whole family and spend a week in the hotel, I get 2 rooms and dine only in the hotel, just to let you know how much money I spend there during my vacation. I love the property which is genuinely beautiful and I love St Tropez, but this time I around we were treated like dogs. I will make sure I will never ever set back foot in this hotel. Im writing a bad review for the first time I just had no option I feel so dishonored. My son wasn't feeling well and threw up on a small spot on the carpet in the hotel lobby. Noone said anything through my stay and upon the checkout I see a charge of 2000 EUROS to my bill which was already 60, 000 Euros for the whole stay. I asked what this was for and they said carpet cleaning, I complained that this wasn't a very nice gesture from them giving we are a returning customer every year and to other Les Arielle's properties as well including Courchevel, so maybe they would rethink their decision. Suddenly a general manager comes who was the most arrogant person Ive ever met. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A GENERAL MANAGER OF ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOTELS IN THE WORLD. The way he spoke to me was as if I was the last person on earth, Ive never felt more humiliated in my life. They basically told me to pay and get out of the hotel. Is this how you treat your loyal customers? Is this the kind of hospitality you guys know? I paid and I left because I respect myself and I would never start fighting with these people, but I'll make sure I will never ever go back to this hotel and tell this story to all my friends who go there every year. treating your customers like this who come every year should be UNACCEPTABLE.

holiday We stayed at the Hotel for a week. The hotel is very overpriced, the service isn't good. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are okay but the staff who works here is very slow with service. The cleaning is average. You can stay in a way better hotel with half the price in St tropez.

awful This was one of the truly most awful hotel experiences we have had in years. I am just now reading other formers guest's reviews and and agree on many points, I only wish I had read them before we booked: -this is a loud, screaming 'family friendly' resort. there were large extended families or groups of families with many school age kids swarming throughout the hotel. there was never a quiet moment, ever. -the food is mediocre at best. lunch and breakfast are served at a buffet in a large cafeteria- like room with groaning platters of every kind of mediocre food on earth. if you arrive at the later part of either meal, you were be faced with sloppy, picked over platters of food that looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. the platters were not cleaned up or refreshed. the whole mess was covered with flies. there are no screens on any of the doors leading into the buffet area. I mean food-market in Calcutta level flies- overall a revolting sight. -the small room that we were given cost over 3k USD per night. it was billed as a 'junior suite". it was anything but. the decor was average at best, as was the bath. it looked absolutely nothing like the photo we saw on line. this is deceptive advertising. -we did not have a view of any sort even thought the website said out room had an ocean view. we were at ground floor level facing some large trees. there was a pool outside our room that was freezing cold. I complained to the concierge about this in an email and never got a response. we were at the hotel for 3 long, dreadful days and did not see one person in the pool, it was non-swimmable. -the concierge service at this hotel is completely non-existent. the average employee is totally untrained and appeared to be about 22 years old. during our entire excruciating stay, I asked the 20 -something concierge to do ONE thing for me: change an existing reservation at a restaurant by 1/2 hour. I was out sightseeing during the day and did this all by email to the concierge's email address. I started emails at 10 am and wrote a total of 6 emails through 4 pm in the afternoon. I did not get one response. I finally called the hotel to ask. they said the got the emails but did nothing about them. the young man then practically screamed at me :DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MANY GUESTS WE HAVE IN THE HOTEL? and hung up. this stay cost us well over well over 10k USD, this response was unprofessional, uncalled for and downright rude. I ended up calling the restaurant myself to change the time. -by the end of our stay in this hotel, we decided it was really like an all inclusive low-end cruise ship: gaggles of rambunctious kids trialed by frenzied parents, terrible food, small claustrophobic rooms, and groaning revolting looking buffets, lots of 'influencer' types with selfie sticks taking photos in the outdoor bar at night. OMG. it was just awful and certainly not a 'luxury' experience that the price and website imply. stay clear , go elsewhere.
