Perfect 10/9 I can't believe this is just a 2-star hotel, it feels like 4 stars. It was perfect in all aspects, clean, comfortable, and close to all destinations within state college. The room was spacious, the bathroom was impressive, and the free coffee station at the reception 24/7 was extremely welcoming. We visited during the graduation week of April/May 2024 so we couldn't extend our stay as it gets extremely expensive during the commencement weekend. That was the only negative thing that was disturbing, yet, other than that, all was commendable. This is one fine hotel that I would personally consider every time I visit State College.

A great quiet place to stay MY husband and I went away for a quick quiet vacation to see the leaves change. We had a most quiet and wonderful time. This hotel is very accommodating and CLEAN! The staff is friendly and he provided breakfasts are good. I will stay here again for sure. There is an Italian restaurant just steps away that serves wonderful food. And, a CVS is walking close distance too for all your needs.

One of the best Comfort Suites in which we stayed. The facility is ultra-clean and modern. We were greeted at the front desk by a smiling, professional associate who recognized us as Choice Privileges members. The room was excellent. Clean, comfortable beds, the bathroom was ultra-clean and well-stocked. We had a couch area in which to relax. We also had a large-screen TV, a microwave, a safe, a refrigerator, and plenty of closet space. The carpeting was clean and the drapes worked. Don't laugh - we've been in hotels where they didn't work. Breakfast the next morning was well-equipped, and what we would expect. The lady stocking and attending to the guests there was exceptional. I made a point of thanking her directly. Upon checkout the next morning, the desk attendant was also professional and friendly. Believe me, if you're looking for a comfortable night in a very good facility at a reasonable rate in Happy Valley - this is the place. We WILL return here again! Great job to all!

Penn State Game We stayed for 2 nights to see a Penn State Football game. The stadium was close to Beaver Stadium( about a mile away) but they offered a great shuttle to and from on game day. It was also close to the downtown area that had plenty of shops and restaurants. The night we arrived the hotel had a cute “tailgating” in the meeting room. Guests could help themselves to food and drinks(including a few types of beer) . The rooms were clean and very spacious.

Very good experience except for the noise July 2022 Super clean hotel and amazing, friendly service. Room was spotless and sleep quality was very good. Breakfast was typical processed food with cheap salty bacon and that sort of thing, so nothing special. Only reason not 5 stars is because of the noise. The room door was not sealed all the way around so all the hallway noise came blaring in, you could see the light outline around the entire door coming in at night. Ice machine just two doors away so we heard everything. And the bathroom noise next door was way too loud coming through what were apparently not the thickest walls.
