Great find here in Happy Valley! Here for a Penn State game. Expensive? Yes! However, we were very happy with our stay. The rooms are quite nice - modern, very clean and comfortable! The staff is lovely. Would definitely stay here again. My only comment would be for better options with the continental breakfast.

Front-Desk Staff not helpful! Not worth the stay, I stayed two nights during end Sept. I came to see my son who is a Freshman at Penn State. Both nights, I had people staying in room next to me, who were cussing and yelling on top of the voices during the hours of 2 am to 4 am. First night, I did not say anything. However, the second nite, these folks walked in around 230 am yelling and using language on top of their voices. I called the front desk at 240 am and complained. The front desk male told me that he will call them and let the m know. However, there was no action taken and these guys kept going till around 4 am. I should have called the cops or 911. During my checkout the next day, there was no one at the front desk at 930 am. I see a line of folks waiting to check out. The housekeeping lady came by and knocked on the door nearby and lady comes out saying she was in the bathroom. She had bathroom gloves on and removed them and said she can help the next person?????? Bathroom gloves and comes out and removes them and asks the help the next person. I gave her my keys and described the incident that occurred last night. She says oh we have football season and had a game, hence the chaos????? She said she will let the manager know though. I asked can I get a bottle of water before I leave as I only had it the first day. Her response is you can buy it and we sell for $2. Not sure where the staff comes from? The guys in the night behaved like they came from the ghettos. Breakfast is a joke. Tables were dirty and not cleaned. This place does not like upto their standards. Not recommended.

Super staff, Clean Basic Room This was our first time staying at the Days Inn by Wyndham Penn State. We chose them because of their location and because they allowed me to use my Wyndham points during a football weekend (not all Wyndhams do). The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The rooms were basic but very clean. The bathroom was small but clean, and water pressure was great. Bottled water and snacks were provided in our room, which was a nice touch! The included breakfast was good and they have a waffle machine. Despite the hotel being full due to the football game, it was quiet and I slept really well (those Wyndham pillows are the best!).

A Great Place_ This place is wonderful! Rooms are clean and well stocked, breakfast has just what you need to start the day, and the staff are The Best! Close to the university, grocery stores restaurants and shopping just up the street. I stay here every time I come to town. . (a shout-out to Michael!)
