Wonderful! We liked everything about it. Friendly staff, good-sized and clean room, good shower gel and shampoo, comfortable bed, charming exterior, and good TV. You just have to pick up in room coffee at the desk but I’m guessing that has something to do with the pandemic. SpringHill will definitely be on our list of brands to look for in the future!

Filthy, needs update, no plastic drinking cups or coffee in room Stayed in State College last night at the Springhill Suites which is listed as a category 6 but it was a paid stay. Here are the items that disappointed me during my visit 1. Outside elevator the carpets desperately needed vacuuming 2. Carpet in the room was filthy 3. No coffee maker in room (all hotels this year have returned the coffee makers) 4. No plastic cups or any type of drinking cup (all hotels I have stayed at have the plastic covered cups) 5. No bag for laundry 6. No conditioner 7. Breakfast consisted of a box of Cheerios, a box of Fruit Loops, or a muffin I did mention these items upon my exit but whoever was there could not have cared less and stated “we are just following the mandate”……what mandate doesn’t allow a plastic cup. I did have an ice bucket with a plastic bag so why not a cup or a coffee maker. Needless to say I will not be staying at this hotel again even though I will be in the State College area weekly for the next 2 months.

Almost Although definitely cleaner than the Holiday Inn Express in the same complex, the rooms are in need of a remodel. The rooms are good size, beds are double, not queen. Overall, room felt dark and dreary. On the plus side, staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me with a super early check- in, local suggestions for food and shopping, and mid stay maid service.

Not bad but not good All of the front desk staff were so nice and helpful! I wish I had taken down names to better compliment them. But we were a little disappointed in our stay. The room was not the cleanest and breakfast was disappointing (although I do understand in the current climate that they can only do so much for breakfast). We booked it specifically for their airport shuttle which was not running. (Again we understand that some of the amenities might not still be up and running but I wish they had noted on their website the lack of the shuttle service to the airport). The hotel is in perfect location! We walked to dinner most nights as there are so many in walking distance. We booked this Marriott because it was a category 6 instead of a 5 like the rest of the Marriotts in town but we were just a little disappointed. However all the staff were very pleasant.

Great Stay in State College, PA Excellent stay from start to finish. Just approaching the hotel the building and grounds were very nice. The quick check in was fast and very friendly, with staff that was all smiles. The room I received was excellent. Very clean, everything working and with a great work space. After a great nights sleep the breakfast was good to get me going. Breakfast staff also very friendly. The checkout was a breeze and they sent me off with a smile and a wish for a "Great Day!" Only other thing to add is "i'll be back!"
