Javrelor Disgusting! 0 empathy from staff, 0 understanding, disgraceful service, hotel staff has no empathy at all. You should have the dump you call a hotel closed! I would not recommend even to the worst enemies such conditions. I have cockroaches crawling on my feet in the dining room! It's not normal!

Wish we hadn’t stayed here We drove from MN to CA and back and this was our worst experience (and most expensive). Check-in was very slow. We could only get a luggage cart if we used bellhops (at night) or by leaving an ID hostage in the morning. The best thing I can say was that the room was large (they gave us a suite without our asking). The wallpaper was peeling, the carpet was grungy, there were cigarette burn holes in the balcony furniture cushions, both the couch and half the bed had broken springs. When I turned down the bed there was a mystery stain on the sheets, and it took them 45 minutes to bring us new ones (to put on ourselves). It took a long time to figure out how to turn off the extremely squeaky ceiling fan, and there was light from under the door to the adjoining room for the entire night. No food is included. The pool closed at 7:00 pm, so we couldnt even use that after driving all day. i wish we had stayed at one of the cheapy motorlodges because at least then nothing would have surprised us.

Disgusting and wont return. Disgracefully bad. First room we checked into was on the 5th floor (507). First night we didnt notice any issues but the pillows were very poor/flat need another one. Barely slept as the air-con felt like an aeroplane was taking off in the room and then we starter to hear a constant drip noise. Not until the morning we noticed the roof about the shower was caving in and badly leaking dirty water (attached images) maintenance guy was very good - and very apologetic but issue could not be solved. Front desk made aware to move us but no rooms available until check out and house cleaning had been in - we were moved into a suite (733) which on first impressions were good but again a bit dated. However, on looking at the balcont we found an old set of dirty boxer shorts from i assume the previous guest. Disgusting and will not be returning

Golden Nugget with a silver lining. We were looking for somewhere in Tahoe to stay July 4th weekend, everywhere was either to expensive or totally booked. The Golden Nugget kept popping up on my feed, with limited cell service, I called the Nugget directly to ask about rates and rooms. I spoke with Jennifer ( front desk manager) who was so kind and helpful. She said she would talked to the front desk about us a room when we check in. Check in went very smooth and we were given a wonderful room on the top floor with a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained. Our bed was very comfortable and fluffy pillows. The air conditioner was set at a perfect temperature. We enjoyed dinner out on the balcony. We stay many nights a year in different hotels and this is one we would definitely stay at again. My only complaint would be we were looking forward to a swim after checking in, but the pool hours are 10 am - 6 pm. I wish it was opened later.
