Clean and safe The Tonewood address is not in my GPS but ended up finding it with the Turner Road address after trying 2 wrong exits in the dark after a 10 hour drive. Also one of the access drives is closed. It was fine when I got there, reservation as expected, and a good clean safe room. Breakfast so-so, OJ watery, bagel hard. I would come back on my way through again.

WORST EVER ! Worst experience Ever ! I am a 75 year old amputee in a wheelchair. Reserved a queen bed accessible room. When we got there we went to our room & discovered it was not an accessible room. I asked them about it , They said WE changed it.. I called the main headquarters & they checked it, informed me it was changed at the hotel level at 3:41 p.m. that afternoon at the hotel level ! They told us in not so many words, " TOO BAD " I had to get in my wheel chair & go approx. 75 feet to the bathroom. They were suppose to call & give me some compensation. This also did not happen ! not even an apology! I hope all handicap people see this & take other choices. WORST EVER !

Obnoxious next room occupant. This was without question, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in some 45 years. The place was unkempt and in disrepair. Biggest issue was an extremely loud occupant in the next room, who was talking on the phone and laughing for about 2 1/2 hours, from about 10 PM Till 12:30 AM. This was after I knocked on his door about 11:15 PM and asked him to please hold it down so we could sleep and calling the front desk (no answer) and walking down to the front desk and appraising the desk manager of the situation.

Not up to Choicehotel standards. Dump. Place is dirty. Rooms had dirt smeared on walls. Carpets thread-bare and dirty. Common areas--hallways also filthy. Limited and unappealing breakfast (couldn't stomach eating there.) Was told by staff that owners don't really care about putting any money into the place and rarely come around. Sadly, not much choice of higher end places nearby. Most hotels seem to be owned/run by same ilk.

Poor Hotel, Need to update, the picture doesnt match the hotel We arrived at Sleep Inn 09/02/2023. Check was okay, the clerk was okay, not helpful. We check in to King size bedroom for two nights. The clerk say they have to charge my card for two nights. I say can I check in and check out and pay when I leave. The clerk say no, I must pay first before I check in. All my life I check in with Sleep Inn in the past, I check in and when I depart, I check out and pay. This Sleepi Inn Statesville, NC is not that great. The room sleep like trash, carpet was dirty and the room smell like dead fish. If I had new, I will never pay them. Just cancel my reservation. The room cost me $202.00 which is about $100/per night. I will never return to this location again. My next visit with be Fairfield Hotel. The shower is terrrible. No security come to check on the room when I call complained that two across from me were speaking spanish and they were louded from 1:00am -4am. I couldn't sleep. Bad experince. Breakfast was horrible. Sink in our room was slowly drain. I do not recommend anyone to Sleep Inn. Stay away.
