Great spot for not a lot! Great little hotel. Clean, tidy, well appointed. Small fridge with bottle opener, microwave, perfect spot for bike trail to town (which is also a great spot to put in for tubing when steamboat has it!). Reception has excellent coffee choices, friendly staff. Inexpensive, cold A/C. Pool, hot tub. What more could you want for 50% less than other compatibles? I give it 5 stars, but for hotel ratings it’s a solid 3 (it’s a different rating system). I’d still give this place a 5 star at the three and 4 star level. We’ve stayed in n the new west and best places in Denver and they’ve had worse housekeeping issues etc.

A bit out of town This hotel is not plush and does not offer breakfast, but you will have a bed and a reasonable room in which to sleep. That is generally my goal as I am frequently out and about during the day, stayed here two nights.

Adequate room The hotel is definitely dated and in need of upgrading. If you're just looking for a place to crash and shower it'll be fine. Shower has good flow and temperature. The room itself is a bit musty. We put a Febreeze car air fresher in the a/c unit and it helped some.

Leak in bathroom and rude front desk I arrived after thinking I’d made a pet friendly reservation on hotels.com. Nothing on the website or my confirmation email told me I need to call about the dog. The front desk did ultimately allow the dog but gave me a very hard time about not calling them first, despite my reservation stating that it included a dog. Moreover, came in to find the bathroom floor soaked due to a leak in the ceiling. Maintenance was not available and no other rooms were available, so we had to make do with a wet floor.

Plain vanilla Pros: The manager called the day before to confirm reservation. The heated pool and hot tub could be reserved for an hour your family (social distancing). The pillows are wonderful. Cons: The hallway smelled so strongly of cannabis that I had to put a towel by door to block smell. There are no elevators. The parking lot is extremely dark. Thin walls.
