Weekend getway at the Lodge My husband and I stayed at Skamania Lodge for a weekend getway. We had a very welcoming and restful stay. The lodge is beautiful and has some unique history that was fun to learn about. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had breakfast daily in the Cascade Dining Room; our meals were tasty, quick, and reasonably priced. The Sunday breakfast buffet was a great deal! The pool and hot tub were busy but not too busy in the evenings, and very clean and well cared for. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed walking the trails and sitting and watching the river and scenery. The lodge is close to Stevenson and its waterfront and restaurants (we recommend Red Bluff Taproom and Walking Man!), and a quick trip from the towns of Bingen and White Salmon. You're also very close to Hood River and Cascade Locks, two great towns along the Columbia River on the Oregon side. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to our next stay at Skamania Lodge!

Lovely Retreat and Family Gathering Spot...with minor issues A great family get-away location that feels much further away from everything than it is. Enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub and various other amenities. Perhaps one of the best, or most scenic mini golf courses in the PNW? A lovely place that is going strong even if some of its rooms are starting to feel in need of a refresh. Perturbed by the new nightly parking fee, as if one has a choice!

Perfect anniversary getaway. This is truly a lovely place. The people who work here are very good at their jobs. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the spa elevator that took us there making it so we didn't have to walk through the hotel in our bathing suits and robes. We appreciated the chilled champagne that came to our room the night of our anniversary. Star gazing while sitting by the outdoor fireplace was great. The lobby area with fireplace is nice as well.

Enjoy life at the Lodge! The Skamania Lodge is the perfect place to recreate, recharge, and enjoy life. The Columbia River is a scenic backdrop for all the views from the restaurants and rooms to the outdoor seating area with Adirondack chairs. A large box of toys is provided for young children. The large lawn is a great place to play games and explore. The Lodge is close to many tourist locations as well as offering their own adventures, zip lines, golf, disc golf and many more. We will be back!

Fun Girls Weekend We had a great girls' weekend in the treehouses. I'd like to callout James at the front desk for being such a great tour guide and chauffeur around the facilities. Additionally, we'd like to give a shout out to Stan at Skamania Adventures; we had a great time learning ax throwing with him. Everyone we met was very warm, welcoming, and fun.
