We were pleased! My husband and I selected this hotel based on price. It is a simple basic needs hotel. We found it to be clean and adequate for the night. The bathroom was brand new and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable. It isn’t plush, but if you are looking for a bed and shower that is clean, and not far from the beach, this is the place! Definitely beats $200-$300+ over priced rooms simply for location.

Horrible. Unprofessional. Sketchy. Absolutely terrible. They fail to mention anywhere online that they charge an ADDITIONAL $35 for a pet to stay with you. Then you cannot refund your stay. Very unprofessional, the man was lounging in his socks, had his feet kicked up on the table when I walked in. Had to call some other person to confirm my stay? Very sketchy and I would never recommend to anyone

Appalling service - stay literally anywhere else Absolutely appalled at the service or lack there of this hotel as provided and not entirely sure something shady isn’t occurring. My son and his 4 friends are staying in a room with maximum capacity of 5 people, 2 beds (see below) which we booked on Priceline. The boys, who are very respectful guys and visiting us from out of town, went to the front desk to ask for a cot for the 5th person. The woman at the front desk proceeded to charge them $25 a night, cash. When I called ask what was going on the woman started yelling about 10-20 boys in the room (no, we’ve been with them all day, 5) and that the room is for 4 people and then one crazy thing after another until I demanded to speak with her boss. She said she is the manager, yelled some more and hung up. This seems to be a case of take advantage of the nervous young guys and then run, with the money, when the parents confront you. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people and the exact opposite of hospitality. Literally stay at any other motel/hotel/tent in the area and you will be better off. Shame on you Americas Best.

Would not recommend this place. I’m disappointed. The hotel is run down. Peeling wallpaper, paint and worn carpets are one thing but the intense smell of chemicals is so intense that everything I ate tasted like it. It made it very uncomfortable to stay in the room. The odd part is the place did not look or feel all that clean. The pool is too small for the amount of people that use it. I tried to pour a glass of juice and water poured and squired out every where. I informed the staff. They said, Oh, there’s no cranberry juice but did nothing. I know this because later another guest was complaining about it happening to her. Choice Hotel, I’d say choose some place else to stay.

Basic amenities barely work I can understand an old hotel in hard times not having funds to repair ceilings or walls, but the basics should be functional. Terribly soft, sink-into-it bed. Toilet flushed only occasionally. Electric outlets worked overnight. By morning none worked, couldn't finish charging phones, use hair dryer, TV, etc. No coffee in room, but we were assured we could use the keurig in the office, which was locked at 7:30 am. Proprietor did unlock shortly after I rang the bell. He wasn't around when I left the key and wanted to tell him the toilet and outlets need to be fixed. Hopefully they'll figure it out seeing everything unplugged. At least there was a roof that worked. Bad value.
