Only a few Bugs here and there Not too bad if you don't mind filth and bugs. Pictures do not lie. It's a disgrace how hotel chains in America have become so disrepaired and dirty. The owners obviously think this is acceptable. This hotel had good reviews must be our room was the only filthy one but that is ehard to believe. The carpets in all visible corners was white with dirt. As you can see the bugs are visible it is not like they were under furniture but right at the base of a rusted floor lamp. They have the audacity of actually charging a 35.0p pet fee? I would never allow an animal to sleep on that filthy floor. The bed was clean and comfortable but did not make up for worrying what was crawling around. Shameful

Unpleasant Stay The room 219 was filthy. There was trash on the floor near one of the beds and white substance on the bedding and on the carpet. There was a huge hole in the wall and the bathtub was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel location if you like cleanliness.

Disappointing ..... at Most. TV was awful ... hard to use and no "guide" to help find anything. Clock .... where was one? We found it and it did not work. Heat/AC was VERY difficult to adjust ... so we just kept it on "fan" and dressed accordingly. Clean and bed .... both OK. Breakfast ... how bad can you get? Eggs were dry and salty, sausages were just plain ugly, very short on baked goods, etc. The breakfast lady was very nice. It's too bad the management did not give her much to work with. This was the worst "free breakfast" we have ever seen. Would not recommend this to anyone ... friend or foe.

Just ok It was clean-ish, comfortable-ish, and the breakfast was ok-ish. The pool was closed which was one of the biggest reasons we chose here to stay, but even it was open, it was small. The breakfast was frozen/reheated egg “omelets”, sweet sausage, not breakfast sausage, a few muffins, bread, bagels, etc. No plain water. The highlight was the waffles that you could make fresh. The beds were just ok. No regular pillows so bring your own. There was hair in the bathroom on arrival. Though I will say the shower had good pressure. It’s fine for a cheap over night between home and the beach but next time I’ll stay closer to Richmond. The area was a typical truck stop-like area. 1 over priced Italian restaurant, a Wendy’s attached to a gas station, a Popeye’s, and an “express” Little Caesars in aforementioned gas station, with 1 pizza and 1 order of crazy bread in a warmer for who knows how long. The hotel was over priced in my opinion for what you got.

OVERPRICED! A typical 2-star Way overpriced! This is a 2-star motel-hotel and should not be more expensive than the other simple, basic, no-frills rooms. The decor is slightly more updated than a motel 6, but the bathroom floor was not squeaky clean. Not sure how you get bits to write great reviews, but this is no Marriott
