Super 8 by Wyndham Sturgeon Bay

Needs improvement the hotel needs more attention to detail. There needs to be plugs in bathtub and sink drains; listening to guests about booking details. We specified first floor because of knee issues and even after calling to confirm a few days before arrival and assured we were on first floor, upon arrival we were told there was no room available and were assigned 2nd floor!

Don’t do it. Even to save a little money. Don’t. Don’t stay here. Even to save a little money. It’s not worth it. Everything was nasty, the people at the front desk hid to avoid helping, rooms dirty, pool bottom is slimy, bad eggs at their breakfast, overall I’d say the place is more like section 8 than a thing called super 8.

Budget Good budget hotel but don't stay here if you expect more. Air conditioner disassembled laying in the hallway. Couldn't decide if this hotel was slowing improving or slowing going downhill. Price was good but the appeal could be improved.

Disgusting We have stayed here before and it was acceptable….a year later…omg! Terrible. We were told at 2:50 check in wasn’t til 3:00 so we literally just stood there and waited. Our room was 106…we walked into the smell of cat pee, smelly feet and death. We opened the window, sprayed Lysol, made coffee and tried to get rid of the smell. We left for dinner & returned to the smell being worse…there was no way we could sleep in there. And the pillows were so stained, ripped blankets, stained hairy sheets…we were ready to drive the 175 miles home!!! The very nice front desk lady with blue hair said we could move to another room (but they were supposedly 100 percent booked) Riom 118 didn’t smell, but still very dirty,..candy wrappers from the last people, hair on sheets, stained pillows…just gross. We did use the hot tub, which didn’t look very well filtered and the fans in the pool area where covered in dust & dirt. They very strictly prohibit all drinks in the poop area…totally ridiculous…it’s hot in there people need at least a plastic water bottle so they don’t pass out!!! Corporate Super 8 needs to visit this property if they want to keep Supe 8’s good reputation. Never again!

Run don't walk away from this place. Staff was in hiding, could never find anyone for help. Room did not have the basic items you would expect. The high-speed internet ded not exsist had to use the hotspot from my phone. The only plus was that it was a pretty central location.
