Poor and non responsive to email. Room was horrible I was informed to email this person because they are in charge of hotel by hotel staff who gave me the card aristot.vuninka@stayatchoice.com this is what I emailed this person 2 weeks ago with photos and still no response: Good Afternoon, I wanted to send an email in regards to my recent stay at your comfort suites facility. My account number for my stay was 932597602, room 511 and the dates were from 6/13/24 to 6/17/24. I first would like to address the staff. The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the staff working in the kitchen area. They showed excellent customer service and every morning greeted us with a hello and or good morning. Now on the other hand although housekeeping was via request only, they fell short of the mark as well as whomever is in charge of the hotel maintenance. The first day our microwave went out (keep in mind i was traveling with children) So i had to come down to the main lobby and go back and forth to heat up food until there was a replacement sent which was on the following day. There was also only one elevator in working condition so the wait time to go up and down to warm up food was quite a bit of a hassle. I reported the issue with the bathroom and floor that night to the front desk and he wrote it in a book and stated that someone would come and fix the problem. The shower head and tub faucet leaked water, the shower head was coming out of the wall and when the water was on it would run everywhere. I did notify the front desk again and they said that because it was written in the book there would be no need to write it again and the person who deals with that situation had already been notified. Needless to say no one ever came to fix the problem. When it came to house keeping, it looked like whoever stayed in that room had a party because there were wet stains on the floor as well as balloon tape on the walls. It was bad. I thought our room would've gotten changed but it didn't and we were not given any type of credit which was very disappointing. The kitchen area was also very sticky, literally everyday. People would walk on the floor and you could hear the sticky sound when everyone walked and it was quite annoying honestly. I asked one of the workers when was the last time that it had been mopped because that has been going on everyday of our stay he stated "every night" But if that were the case everyone wouldn't have been making noise from their shoes when walking on it. That entire kitchen area was very dirty even around the trash bins. Hot Tub was also out of service. As a person who is in the media field as a correspondent/Journalist I was very disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. But overall as i stated the staff was nice. I thought I'd bring this to your attention as I've discussed the good and the bad. Hopefully these issues will be addressed in hopes that someone can do random checks with staff and upkeep. Thank You,

09/16/23- Well below par. The owners of the nice facility deserve a better reflection than what current staff offers. The check-in was great. Young gentleman that checked me in the evening of 09/12/23 was very professional and courteous. The stay was downhill from there. Each morning the lobby was out of coffee at 0630, during what seemed to be a busy time. They had one air pot. When I asked the attendant the first day, she politely told me that I wouldn’t drink so much and have a big cup she wouldn’t be out. I was a little taken back being that it was a 12 oz travel mug and it was also my first visit to the coffee pot. The mornings thereafter were no better. I found the male attendant the next morning at 0630 (and the following morning as well) asleep on the lobby couch, with a TV show blaring on his phone (I mean LOUD, first thing I heard when departing elevator). When I woke him to tell him there was a wandering line of 6 people looking for coffee, he must have been having a dang good dream because he was quite disgruntled for having to depart his leisure and prepare a pot. My advice is if you’re going to employ that stature, have more than one air pot for service. Overall- the desk was great and very professional, the amenities were ok for the price, but the lobby service was terrible- the worst attitudes I have seen in my 35 years of traveling and over 3 million points with Choice. It really left a bad taste. I was going to leave this on Choice website but it would not allow me to get to review page.

This place not maintained well: dirty carpet in lobby and halls, No AC in lobby/breakfast area or gym, scuffed walls everywhere, worn out mattress, dirty elevator; broken water fountain in gym; room door would not close easily but closet doors would not stay open; garbage cans full- in lobby, breakfast area and outside; door to/from outdoor patio by breakfast area would not unlock w/door key, soap dispenser in men’s public restrooms not working, the couch in the room is worn out.

We Left Early We’ve stayed here before and it was okay but this year we left half-way through our week-long stay. There are things that we just couldn’t tolerate so we left for the much, much nicer Marriott to finish our stay while visiting our USCG son who is stationed nearby. The lobby and first floor hallway were overtaken by big boxes of furniture which were there during our three-day stay. The old furniture was being hauled out and piled in the parking lot. The furniture in the parking lot looked like it was in very good condition and our room’s identical furniture was also in good condition. We were puzzled by this entire exercise and think that process could have been handled better. It was disturbing to encounter such chaos every day. There was a cleaning cart left in the hallway overnight along with piles of laundry and bags of garbage. That’s not how a well-managed hotel should be. We also heard gunshots all three nights, which was extremely unnerving. We went to their indoor pool and to discover there are NO lights in the pool room despite it being open until 10 pm. Josh (an A+ employee) checked it out and yup, no lights, not even light fixtures. He called the hotel manager who said if we wanted lights she would have to come there and open a locked door (she has the only key) to turn on the pool’s lights. There are no lights in the room only in the pool. That’s just seems weird, dangerous, and maybe illegal. The employees were good but I think that corporate needs to check out this manager. We are very happy that we moved to the Marriott.
