Clean comfortable beds for a wonderful night’s sleep I’ve always had a good experience every time I’ve stayed here. The staff is friendly and my room has always been clean. Super comfortable beds that are always clean and fresh. Added perk: there’s a Chick Fil A and a Starbucks close by. And easy on/off freeway access

DISGUSTING This is absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. I booked this last minute traveling through Texas was in the room for five minutes. I proceeded down to the front desk to let them know there was feces on the walls, stains all over the place, including bugs, crawling on the bed, but no one was to be found, I left to find another hotel sent them a message through the app - no response this place should be torn down

Dog Friendly or Gone to the Dogs? Not for me. We have stayed at this Hampton Inn for many years when we come in to visit family. We've always found it to be clean and inviting -- until this month. Our stay on May 3, 2024 was a nightmare. The bathroom sink backed up with sewage early the next morning as we were getting up to start our day about 6:00. I called for maintenance and was told they wouldn't be in till later. Two housekeeping women came up (we were on the second floor!) to clean out the sink. We tried to dress in a hurry and get out of the room. But when we arrived in the dining room to have breakfast, we were dumbfounded to see a young woman with a dog in the dining room. The dog was sitting in his own chair facing the table where he had his own plate of food. "Dog Friendly" does not describe the hotel. It's a kennel where dog people can eat breakfast with their animals. It was disgusting. We left. I called back later to explain why we were so dissatisfied with our stay. The manager said it was a corporate decision to be "dog friendly" and that the sewage does back up from time to time in the hotel. It's not their fault. She said it's the city's fault. I don't care whose fault it is, but I do know raw sewage in a hotel sink is not acceptable. And having dogs in the dining room is equally unappetizing. That was our LAST visit to the Hampton Inn in Sulphur Springs.

Hotel had some good and plenty of bad in the room. Good Breakfast - Nice Staff - BAD ROOM - although beds were comfortable and plenty of covers - ROOM IN BAD NEED OF UPDATING AND MAINTENANCE. Lobby nice - ROOM below average for class 3 hotel. Window seal full of dust - refrigerator packed with ice so freezer useless - chalking around tub and toilet in bad need of replacement along with a very long crack in tile in bathroom. I was disappointed. Sent a personal note to manager explaining good and bad and got NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER. I doubt I will stay there again unless I personally review the room assigned BEFORE I check into hotel. Joanna McKee - stayed October 19th 2023 Review submitted on November 6 2023 - after no response from manager to my personal note sent earlier.

Great staff, hotel needs work This was the first time since Covid that we actually found cookies again at a Hampton Inn! They were huge! The hotel is dated & it seemed to be cricket season (there were dead ones all over outside). I have to say, the staff is AMAZING & they were all so kid friendly & ready to help. Our first stop was the pool but we had trouble getting in. One of the young men working was very eager to help us gain access to the pool area. It’s a nice pool with a good sized splash type area. My child did not like all the bugs though so our time was quick out there (it was dark anyway). Our room was nice but the whole place could use a facelift. We did have trouble with the knob for the shower, it would not go down to use the bathtub. We had a restful night sleep & had Texas waffles for breakfast! That was a real treat! The juice bar needed repairs but they gave us bottles of OJ instead. I think with some upgrades it would be perfect!
