Soccer Tournament Weekend Stay We’re from Modesto, Ca., and my daughter, Stephanie, reserved our stay at the TownHouse Suites by Marriott in Sunnyvale, Ca. We were attending a weekend youth soccer tournament, provided by Copa Surf at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale, Ca. The hotel was approximately 15-minutes away, easy access. Other soccer teams Families also made reservations there. There was plenty of available parking especially in the underground basement parking lot. Our room was clean & spacious with small kitchen sink, microwave, stove, nice size refrigerator/freezer, flat screen TV, iron board, etc.. the morning breakfast was awesome!! The food was delicious & a variety to pick from, waffle, fruit, cereal, eggs cheese omelets, potatoes, & bacon including juices, coffee, milk, chocolate, & yogurt. I applause __ __ Christina & staff members for maintaining a clean breakfast environment !! Overall, the TownPlace Hotel in Sunnyvale was a very good choice !____

It was okay The suite was perfect size for our family of 6. Unfortunately the pull out mattress was gross the first night and the hotel would not fix it until morning. We had to request it a second time and they ignored another request we made. The parking garage under the hotel was nice though it may be cramped when full. If the staff was friendlier and more attentive it would have been great.

Will not be back! We had to stay here because it is one of the few long stay hotels and as close as wr could get to Stanford Hospital where my husband had to have open heart surgery. In the beginning, it was fine. Then as the week progressed, more and more people began to who up. We are in a pandemic and by the time we left today there was no parking and that means there were a lot of people staying there. Not acceptable! I get you're a business but you should not be accepting so many guests during a pandemic! The parking is horrible! The underground parking is way too tight. I had to back out of the parking structure more than once because there was no room to turn the car towards the entrance because again shoving everyone in like sardines DURING A PANDEMIC! The room was quite small for a family of 4 but we made it work. But the worse part is the couch that turns into a bed is super uncomfortable! Our daughters cannot sleep together so I slept with the youngest and my husband slept with the oldest. And because he had to have surgery, he slept on the only comfortable bed in the room while I slept on the couch bed. Every morning for over 2 weeks I woke up in so much pain it wasn't even funny. They need to make those beds a lot more comfortable. Had to do laundry while there and the room was horrible! Only one washer working, no ventilation or AC so the kids and I were SWEATING as we waited for the clothes, and it took $5 to do ONE LOAD. Seriously? We were forced to go back to our room to wait for the clothes to dry. I do not trust people and having to return back to the room because it was way too damn hot to wait for the clothes is unacceptable! And for allowing so many people to stay, they had a skelton crew working there. Only ONE maintenance guy and I had to call the front desk twice one day because they didn't bother bringing my request for TP I had put in in the morning. Also on more than one occasion, I saw guests without masks on even though masks are mandatory in the hallways. I even saw on more than one occasion STAFF not wearing their masks as they cleaned the rooms. Very unprofessional! We will NOT be returning here again. They only had one thing going for them and that was location. But even that will not entice us to come back. No thank you!

Gets the job done for a business trip Stayed here for a work-week. All the essentials are here, and honestly the pricing was the best for a trip to nearby Palo Alto. Parking is convenient. Where it can be improved: true business center (it's in the middle of the lobby - no privacy), tiny workout room (very hot and stuffy), and add keurigs. I would be happier but the dish in the cupboard was dirty, my room also faced a sketchy parking lot which would be ok but not on the first floor. The AC/heater was also very outdated.

Clean but dated I stayed here for five nights in May, 2019. I found the accommodations reasonably clean, and the staff friendly. The carpet in the room was stained, and seemed pretty old. The breakfast buffet was mediocre, and the breakfast room was small and got cramped very quickly. A couple of mornings I was forced to take the food back to my room since there was nowhere to sit. In general, it was okay, but there are more modern Marriott offerings in the area that were only a few dollars more per night;so will probably opt for one of those next time.
