It's a Very Comfortable Hotel I was surprised to see I haven't written a review on this hotel, despite staying in it 30+ nights a year for the last 6 years. Plus, when I lived in Reno we used to stay here when working in the area. When it wasn't a Comfort Inn & Suites it was an okay hotel, but dated with suspect beds. Once the renovations and conversion was complete it is a great place to stay with a fantastic staff. The beds are some of the most comfortable beds I stay on in my travels, the appliances work like you expect them to and you have a place to sit that isn't a bed in most of the rooms. Overall, it is a very quiet place to stay. That's why I keep coming back year after year and will continue to stay here going forward.

Works for me Basic motel with nice clean spacious room. The breakfast was only adequate. I took the last of the bacon and sausage and they were slow to refill them,The reviews are probably correct in that it is the best place to stay in Susanville, which says a lot about Susanville.

Great Choice for Travelers Easy access from the highway with ample parking. The grounds are clean, and security is a priority with keyed entries to the building. We had a great room on the back side, comfortable, clean, and roomy. With the heat of August, the air conditioning unit kept the room nice and cool, especially during the night. The even number rooms are on the back side, the odd number rooms face the main road into town from the 395. Fast food restaurant choices are within easy walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was the normal Continental breakfast style: scrambled eggs, bacon (which my wife was overjoyed to have), sausage, biscuits and country gravy, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, breads, juice, milk, coffee. The Hotel staff was friendly and made it easy to check in. The breakfast cook was especially helpful and attentive in the morning. This is a new addition to the Choices Hotel Chain, one that we will use in the future as we travel between Washington to California.

Great place to sleep, rest and relax. Great experience at this place to spend the night. It was clean, quiet, pleasant to sleep, the beds were quite comfortable, unlike the place we stayed the night before(mattress was akin to trying to sleep on the floor). Price was comparable to other places in the area. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Solid stay, great staff We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn in Susanville. It’s a great option if you’re going between Reno and Lassen volcanic national Park or crater Lake. The rooms were great. They gave us a huge room with several beds. Location was also quite good. Most importantly, when we realized after our stay that we had left something behind great personal value, the staff worked hard through multiple days to find it and make sure we were able to get it back. Kudos to a job well done.
