Get your act together Marriott !! We were visiting friends for a few days and decided on the Marriott because it was such a great location by the beach and marina. Check in was easy, we had room 2 which was large and spacious. The first thing we noticed was that there were 2 paper cups and wooden stirrers no proper cups or spoons. A minimal number of tea bags, coffee sachets and milk pots. One small packet of broken biscuits, no fridge and no complimentary water. Upon phoning reception they said they would bring us a fridge, ice bucket and bottled water but why none in the first place ? The water wasn’t replenished during our stay neither were the dirty glasses replaced. The sliding wardrobe doors didn’t slide, there weren’t enough normal coat hangers and too many skirt type hangers that didn’t fit the rail. In the bathroom there was no ventilation, no heated towel rail and the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. Only one bedside table so had to move another smaller table by the bed. Overall the room was shabby and needed a good makeover. Upon checkout I gave a list to the receptionist who apologised and said she would report back to the management. I asked how a toilet roll holder clearly dangling loosely could go unfixed. Surely housekeeping noticed it but if they did and reported it why was it not fixed ? If they didn’t report it - why not ? We had to book a time for breakfast as there were two large coach parties staying so we were offered 7.30 or 10.20. We wanted around 9 am and after a lot of flitting back and forth they agreed but said it was very busy. When we arrived at breakfast each day it was half empty! The gym, pool and sauna were also closed, not that we wanted to use them but it would have been nice to have had the option of the pool and sauna if we had the opportunity. The receptionist was very apologetic and didn’t have any answers to the questions but agreed to a 50% refund so originally £180 per night with breakfast to £90. Still a lot of money but at least they acknowledged our complaint. Let’s hope they do something about it or more travellers will be as disappointed as we were. Come on Marriott get your act together. There are plenty of other hotels around !

Lovely stay I and a friend spent a night at this average but a little tired hotel. Hotel was nice enough but the rooms could do with an update. The bathroom had showers that didn't have a move able hose or glass doors. Windows that don't open but a sufficient enough ac type heater in the room. The staff were all really friendly, receptionist very helpful and the waitress etc. The house keeping weren't as friendly as the rest of the team but we only saw them a few times. I think the jewel in this hotel that out weighs everything is the beautiful beach right next to them! The car park is also a great asset and the hotel being kind on allowing us to stay after we had checked out. I do think they need to look at their payment method though. The deposit should come off the end bill and not an additional charge on top of that. You shouldn't be holding onto any extra money that then is something you have to factor into the cost.

Great stay! Great stay, lovely location, staff very helpful and friendly. Willingness to go above and beyond to help. Room was clean, tidy and covid friendly. Was a very pleasurable stay, great amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Decent Hotel Pleasant hotel, good location and lovely staff. I can’t help thinking for £185 a night charging extra for wifi when the gym/pool/sauna is shut is a tad steep. Restaurant is solid, not horrendously priced although some ‘undesirables’ knocking about effing and jeffing in front of the kids. I’d book again but you must open all your facilities to warrant the price. Diolch

Fantastic Hotel in Swansea This is an excellent hotel. All the staff are fantastically helpful, professional and friendly. Our check-in was with Bruno, who was incredibly welcoming, charming and helpful. Our room (102) was clean, airy and spacious. Housekeeping was amazingly good from Chris (Christine). The breakfast is superb: all the waiters are so good and the chefs are incredible, cooking eggs to order, fried, poached or scrambled. Not only would I recommend this hotel a hundred per cent, I am also planning to stay here again as soon as possible.
