One Step Above a Motel Under New Management but still the same old same old with a review from a regular guest. Friendly greetings by the new staff. Check-in was uneventful. Abundant of security cameras newly installed. A budget hotel. Stale marijuana stench waffling through the parking lot, sometimes through the hallways and rooms. Limited parking availability as always. Typically, you have to hunt for street parking after 8pm. Bathroom lighting still poor. No room safes to store valuables. Didn't see the "long term guest's" cars parked in the only 2 member's spots this time.

Good Experience. Highly Recommend Our family gathered at the Choice hotel in Syosset January 20/21/22. All together we had three rooms. A group of three in a room with two queen beds. The room was a bit small but was adequate, comfortable, and had both a mini-fridge and a microwave. One single person had a room which, unfortunately was next door to a couple with two dogs that barked a lot. After the first night, the one person in our party asked to be moved to a different room, and the staff was very empathetic and accommodating. No issues after that. My husband and I stayed in a room with one king bed that was very comfortable, the room was clean and contained a fridge but no microwave. In the evenings we were all able to gather in the lobby area, which has very comfortable seating, lots and lots of tables, and even a few comfy chairs next to the fireplace. Although we were in the lobby at all different hours, we never saw the lobby bar open. This was not an issue for us, just mentioning it. We were all able to park in the smaller front parking lot each time we returned. There are two other parking lots for the hotel, but we didn't need to go to them. The location is quite good. Lots of places to eat are a short drive away, and the highway is not far either. We found this to be a very good hotel for the price.

Very Disappointed Breakfast horrible, coffee weak, parking was the worst experience. Every nite, except one, we had to park a block away. Brendan gave us a new room cause ours was so small you couldn’t change your mind in it. It had no vanity, dark & dreary. Room was always cold & we both got sick (& we never do) Trucks & noise constantly outside our window. NOT RECOMMENDED despite what you see.

Unexpected pleasure. Better than I expected. It was a last minute decision and we didn’t regret it. Bed was clean and comfortable and so were the pillows. The bathroom was also clean and the complimentary breakfast was also good. The room was small but the price was right. The front desk was very nice and helpful. Dave was great!!

Ew Bugs Room was dank and smelly. Found a roach in the bathroom and a bug in the bed. The whole place shook when the downstairs door shut. Would not dare eat the breakfast. Staff was nice enough. Complained but management has done nothing. Don’t stay here.
