No complaints. Room was clean and adequate. Supermarket right next door to buy beer, breakfast food and one day we got a sandwich there for our ski lunch. 15 min to Squaw and even closer to Alpine. Great place for skiers. If you are looking for fancy, go elsewhere. Walking distance to 5 or 6 places for dinner. Someone commented they had no internet, but ours was fine.

Not sure this place is ready for guests The lady in the office, Dana, was about the best part of this 'motel'. She tried her besst but was hampered by the lack of amenities not under her control. No icemaker, which is a rarity, and for Lake Tahoe, no hot tub which after a full day of skiing was definitely something we should have checked. The office is open 8 am to 8 pm, and the the television had no cable but only a roof top antennae which caused the few channels available to blink and scroll. The heater on the floor made loud noises so bring ear plugs if you do decide to go here. Convenient to nearby Jakes on the Lake and other restaurants.

Very good but motel NOT hotel Four stars as a motel. Friendly welcome. Definitely a motel feel to this. Room large with all amenities and soaps and coffee machine and even a microwave. Housekeeper did a good job We could hear the voices and TV of the people next door but they slept early Completely valid option as no frills mountain/lake type accommodation. Don’t expect contemporary furniture and frills and fancies. Does what it says on the tin.

Great location! I thought I stepped back in time!!!! The heart shaped tub cracked my husband and me up! The room was very dated but clean. The location was awesome! The price was great! It's on the north shore so the atmosphere is completely different than south shore. Very laid back almost like a beach town.

Disappointing Not worth the lower than average room rate! What I thought was to be an in-room spa was just a shower in an old spa that no longer had working jets. There were ants in the bathroom and the carpet was very dirty. The reason the room earned two stars (instead of one) was the bed was comfortable, there was a refrigerator and microwave, and the plumbing and HVAC worked. This is not a ringing endorsement! Also, the deadbolt was nearly impossible to engage, and disengage, so for fire safety purposes, we didn't use it.
