Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Tampa Airport North, FL

Clean basic room. Clean yet very basic room. Devoid of personality however. A bit overpriced. Worked ok for a one night visit. Free parking and breakfast. Friendly staff Close to Tampa international airport!!! I have nothing else to add at this time. Maybe next time.

Comfortable beds and shuttle service to and from Tampa airport Good location from Tampa airport with shuttle to and from. Drivers are from a contracted transport company and very kind and helpful. They arrived within 20 minutes of calling for pickup. This is a no frills hotel but at the same time, very affordable for the area with comfortable beds, linen and towels. I felt safe here in the daytime. Not sure I would wander about after dark. WaWa gas station was across the street and next to that was a PDQ chicken place. About 3/4 mile down the busy highway was a Target plaza with other shopping. The room's air conditioner shot out cold Air and room was comfortable in the heat of summer. Room had refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was the typical fare with a waffle station. Tea and coffee available during the day. They do not clean your room every day, but I prefer not to be bothered anyhow. Front desk staff were kind and helpful. I'd stay again if I needed a hotel with shuttle service. They also provide shuttle to cruise port, but they don't run the shuttle after 11:30pm so, arriving earlier is something to consider.

Nice clean hotel great customer service. Couldn’t be more happy with the Lodging. Most of the people that I spoke to were great (customer service). I was assured at booking that a shuttle would be available for us at the airport. The day of our flight, I called to confirm that we would have a ride from the airport to the hotel. They said the last Pick up would be scheduled at 11:45 PM. I told them our flight did not arrive until 11:45 PM. They assured me that a shuttle would be available. They told me to call as soon as we landed so that a shuttle would be sent. When I called, they said the last pick up was 1145 and they would patch me to the shuttle service so I could speak with them. Spoke to the shuttle driver he said he was gassing up and he would be at the Airport in 10 minutes. I told him we had just landed and had to get our bags. He said that he would be there in 10 minutes and we needed to be there - He would not wait. The hotel called while we were headed to luggage pick up asked how we were progressing getting to the shuttle. I told them that we just got off the plane and were headed to baggage area then to the ground level to catch the shuttle, but the shuttle driver had told us that he would only wait 10 minutes. They said that they would contact him and make sure he will stay. My daughter and son-in-law retrieved our bags while me and my grandson sprinted to the shuttle. The shuttle driver was very friendly and accommodating, especially when he found out that all our group wasn’t there. About five minutes later my daughter and son-in-law arrived With our luggage. The hotel was about 10 minutes away, and an Uber driver would have cost us $70 plus tip. I Cannot express how thankful we were for the shuttle too stay past their cut off time. Of course it was after midnight when we arrived at the hotel. The front desk rep was very friendly and the check-in process was flawless, the room was wonderful. We had two queen size beds in a suite. It was very clean, nice and cool, and very quiet. We had breakfast at the hotel, which included a variety of hot and cold items. The dining area was very clean as well. Normally we fly to Orlando, so this trip was our first trip to Tampa. This hotel and one other were the only 2 that offered free shuttle service from airport (at the time of my booking). I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families, but would be great for anyone traveling alone as well.

Great place to stay This hotel has a friendly staff, easy check in/out and a very clean facility. The room was nice and although it’s right off a main road it was quiet. With it being so close to the airport and interstates. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good Location We were given a voucher for Country Inn & Suites due to a flight cancellation. The airline comped us for only one night even though they couldn't rebook us for two days. So I had to negotiate with the hotel for a discounted 2nd night. They were able to help us with a reasonably priced 2nd night and give credit for my Choice Rewards stay. The room is a little plain, which is fine; as long as it's clean. The dining area is a bit small, so breakfast was crowded. There were also issues with the laundry on the first night, which was not resolved until the next day. There was a nice outdoor pool & hot tub as well as fitness room (did not use). The hotel is located across the street from a Wawa and there's a Walmart, Walgreens, and Chick Fil-A; along with some other shops very close by.
