La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tampa Near Busch Gardens

Kind staff. Good stay. The front and back entrance both need a U turn to get in. If the local government can help to solve this traffic issue, that will be great. Otherwise the property is decent. The swimming pool is pretty nice. Breakfast is economical but good. Will stay again.

Clean Room But Not worth the Price The room was clean but the door would not close without slamming it. The check in and out was easy and the staff were nice. The free breakfast was not good. A/C units vent into the walkways and creates and super hot area to walk through. Value for the high cost was just not there.

Not like it used to be _ We had stayed here 2 years ago and it was nice. When we knew we were coming back we figured it would be good to stay here again. The check-in staff was nice. Our room however was plain and worn with no decoration or anything on the walls. The worst was when I noticed the bloody hand print on the top door hinge. On closer inspection the inside door know had blood on it. We quickly checked the rest of the room and seemed to be okay. We cleaned it up. No we didn't raise a fuss. We're retired police and farm raised kids. We just handled it and went on with our quick trip. The breakfast the 1st morning was good. The 2nd morning the poor lady working it was by herself and couldn't keep up with volume of people wanting breakfast. We felt bad because people were harassing her so went on our way and got breakfast on the road. Our smoke detector when off around 2 in morning because the idiots in the next room were outside having a ganja party and smoke was coming through the gaps in our door. SMH. We were quite disappointed overall and won't be back.

Great Location and Pool We visited Tampa for my son's birthday. This location is walking distance to Busch Gardens and a short drive into downtown Tampa, where we were able to attend a concert. We booked adjoining rooms. Staff was friendly at check-in. The rooms were clean, shower pressure was great, and the water got hot quickly. The only concern was the water in the tub was a little slow to drain. The pool was clean and the water temperature was perfect. The breakfast was okay (not great for my picky eaters). I would definitely stay here again.

Great Busch Gardens Experience! Great location to Busch Gardens! We walked over in the morning (about 20 min) and took Uber in the evening (under $7). Room was updated and the staff was pleasant. Nice Breakfast in the morning to start the day. The pool is big enough to accommodate all the guest.
