unhappy guest My husband and I took an unexpected trip to NC. We arrived to check in around 1a.m.Signs were posted saying You must wear a mask,However the women behind the desk wasn't wearing a mask.My husbsnd asked her about the policy. She said "Everyone had to wear a mask.The next morning there was a different lady at the desk during check out,She too wasn't wearing a mask.This was an unsettling experience the careless attitude at such a time as COVID. Good thing we took cleaning supplies to sanitize the room who knows if they sanitized the room as they said.

Thankful for Great people in time of Urgent Need I am an Agency Nurse needed a clean, nice place, rest, shower & to return to Prodigy in a matter of hours. Sharon Shields Front Desk Manager an Angel welcomed me with a smile, Professional and caring.

Creepy crawlers! We stayed for a funeral on Saturday. Hotel looks great inside and out but the next morning I saw a baby roach. We went downstairs to eat and I saw a few cousins from out of town and they advised me not to eat because the creepy crawlers were around the food. Disgusting!

VERY DISSATISFIED FAMILY VACATION This hotel chain has always been suitable for me in other locations, however, the Tarboro, NC location is very disappointing. I had to change my room 3 TIMES with in a 2 night stay!!! The first room (219) had a big hole in the ceiling and looked as if someone attempted to cover it with tape and the tape is now hanging off, the bathroom was VERY dirty the shower AND the shower curtain wait DIRTY, the toilet was unclean as well. The room had an oder upon entry, AND THEE MOST APPALLING was, there was hair in the Bed...I immediately went to the front desk, the room was then changed to room #103, a handicapped room, which I was told "There were no other rooms available" so I had to take that one. The next morning i received a phone call at 8:15am stating "I HAVE TO MOVE OUT OF THE ROOM BECAUSE IT HAS ALREADY BEEN RESERVED" I was VERY annoyed, I then questioned why was i given a room that was reserved, the lady could not give me an answer, sensing my frustration she then returned a call saying i no longer had to move to a different room. Not only was I awaking out of my 3 hours of sleep I wasn't able to go back to sleep so i decided to shower and then I noticed THE WATER DOESN'T GO DOWN THE DRAIN!!! so therefore I had no choice but to relocate to ANOTHER room ONCE AGAIN!!! OH i forgot to mention the mini fridge was completely broken and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned EVER!...THERE WERE NO COMPENSATIONS GIVEN TO ME EITHER FOR THE INCONVENIENCES!!! WHICH HAD DETERMINED I WILL NEVER RESERVE A ROOM THERE AGAIN!! I was relovated to Room #218 where there were blood stains on the comforter which i didnt notice until the morning AFTER my daughter arrised from sleep...what a disgrace! Just Nasty! I should of taken pictures but im sure no one would of wanted to see that!

Nice stopover on the way to OBX We selected this hotel as a stopover on a long drive to OBX. Depending on traffic,It is about 2 hrs. to OBX. We had/have no complaints about the accomodations. It is about 1-2 miles off the highway and very easy to find. Free parking and buffet breakfast included. There is a small outdoor pool in the back. They had just upgraded satellite reception and we did have a small problem with tv reception in our room as a result of the upgrade not being fully implemented. We did eat at Ribeyes Restaurant just up the street and had an enjoyable meal there.
