Worst hotel experience ever!! DONT STAY HERE!!! Read the reviews before staying there! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The maintenance man/receptionist guy named TOM is the most rude person there!!! If you ask him for anything he complains and is rude about it!! Better bring your own towels and toilet paper cause he tells you they are running low and won’t give you the same number of towels you give him. Don’t throw ANY garbage (not even a piece of paper) into a trash can near the rooms or he throws a fit and cusses about it. I’ve got woken up because he threw around the trash can and was cussing about how full it was. If he see you throwing any garbage he will yell at you and demands you throw it into the dumpster. He stated “if I find the ones throwing garbage in here I’m gonna beat there ass!” The first room me and my family stayed in the ac didn’t work and asking him nicely to changes rooms he stated “he doesn’t have ac in his room either” walked away mumbling negative and inappropriate comments under his breath, hours later he comes back and says he guesses we can move rooms. I’m not the only person he has done this too. I’ve watched him be rude to other guests staying there, cussing at them telling (the other guest) they make him work harder cause he dose everything around here already. Except it obviously shows he don’t. You can’t ever find him you have to call the number on the office door to get ahold of him and half the time he won’t answer. Don’t enter or exit the second drive way cause the guy in the white truck that stays there cusses at you and will tell you it’s private property then blocks it which is a fire hazard but he keeps doing it so you can’t go threw. The workers at this hotel won’t say anything to him about it because there friends. The second room they moved me too has mold in it. Water ran down from the ceiling and the ac leaked water out onto the floor. Also don’t use both plugins in the outlet. I had my hair dryer and straightener plugged in and it blew a fuse. Never again will I stay here nor will I recommend anyone to stay here. They treat guests as a inconvenience and are very disrespectful about it. There are way cheaper and nicer hotels near by. They should shut the hotel down. I have video of the lights not working after I plugged my hairdryer in and I have video of Tom being rude except it won’t let me post them to here. But I will be posting them everywhere else that I can inform people what kind of service you can expect or how you will be treated if you stay here.

Terrible place. Never stay here. Read all of the reviews on this place and they are true. I wish I would have listened to them. The room was dirty and stunk of smoke. No sign that it had been cleaned recently. Within an hour of being there I stepped in dog feces under the desk. I grabbed all my things and left. I asked the front desk for a new room and the guy started arguing with me about the feces in the room. I then asked for a refund and that I was checking out. He then told me no, I said call your manager and he said the manager is out of town. No refund and I had payed for 4 nights up front and only stayed an hour. I tried having my bank cancel the charges but that did not work either. This place is terrible, they are supposed to be cleaning rooms more often because of covid but they are not. Long story short, don't ever stay here.

HOTEL HELL I had booked my hotel through Hotels.com at the rate of 62 dollars a night for 2 nights. I knew it was a 62 dollar hotel, so I didn't expect the Ritz but this was by far, the worst hotel/motel experience I have ever had. When you enter the front desk/reception area, there is no person there, only a sign with a telephone number. There are also signs everywhere saying "NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGES." That should have been my first clue that things were bad. Second, when I called the number on the sign, I had to call several times before I got some kind of response. Eventually, I found the owner of the hotel meandering through the parking lot at 10 o'clock at night with a bottle of Jamesson. Eventually, he checked me in. I asked if my reservation could be extended by one night and because it was "Nascar weekend," he charged me more than double for one additional night. He also then charged me all of my nights up front (over 300 dollars for 3 nights - after taxes). He took me to my room and the first room he took me to had no been cleaned and was dirty. The second room, which I eventually stayed in, smelled as if someone had smoked a cigarettes inside exactly 5 minutes before. The Wifi did not work (he gave me 2 different password and there were 5 different networks, which I ALL tried). The carpet was damp but also sticky, which freaked me out. The bed was very uncomfortable and the whole time I was laying there, I couldn't help but think I was likely exposing myself to bedbugs. There were cobwebs and bugs in the room. I eventually tried to sleep in my car but it was too uncomfortable. I realized I had a tarp in my trunk and decided to bring that inside, and put that on the bed. I barely slept. The next morning I told the man at the desk (new employee) that I was very uncomfortable with my room and wanted a refund on my remaining nights. He said he was not "authorized" to give refunds and that the owner rarely gave them. Every time I tried calling the night manager/owner's telephone number, I I could not get an answer. I booked an Air BNB in downtown Tecumseh for 89 dollars a night and wanted to cry as soon as I got in the room because it actually smelled and looked clean. Please avoid this place. It's a scam and I have no idea where the positive reviews come from. I think they are planted. The pictures also did not match my room whatsoever and look like they were taken elsewhere. HOTEL HELL!

Some issues but would come back Check in was easy- staff was kind. We asked if the place was booked for the race and they said it was. Got to our room everything was good. Fairly clean and very large. After a few hours something in the bathroom area started stinking very very VERY bad. We had Lysol so sprayed it down. Still didn’t help. It didn’t stink up the whole room just the bathroom /Sink area. It was horrible and lasted our whole stay. We didn’t ask to switch rooms because we thought it was full - it wasn’t we later seen, and at that point we only had a night left. Aside from that pillows were flat... but we always hate hotel pillows. Was going to give 3 stars because of it but it’s our fault for not asking to change rooms. I am sure they would have let us- after we brought them in to smell it.
