SureStay Hotel by Best Western Terrell

Will not return I was met by Lisa and her service was GREAT, hands down. The room on the other was pretty bad . 1st- I saw 4 to many roaches and a spider in the corner that clearly wasn’t doing his job. I cut my stay short in the middle of the night. Planned for 3 only 1

Great stay! This place is a great location and wow are the people at front desk so friendly. We requested extra pillow and blanket and it was already in room when we arrived! Breakfast had Texas shaped waffles that the grandkids loved! The pool was awesome. Will stay here again for sure! Very clean room

Stay at Your own Risk!_ When my friends and I arrived the service offered was great. They were nice to put us in rooms next door to one another but once we went into our rooms we were in for a shocker. My friends room smelled horrible upon further inspection there was mold all over. They asked for a new room which they were given but this hotel is in dire need of repairs and updates. My room was next door to the moldy room and I started to pick up that moldy smell which I can only attribute to the moldy room next door. In my room there was rust on everything (hangers, fixtures, toilet paper holder, tissue holder and etc.). The towels smelled really bad and were super rough on your skin. There were holes in the walls, ceiling, and on the bathroom door. The lamp shades were dirty. I was in shock on how much this hotel really needs repairs and updates. Another issue were the doors not locking upon leaving the room. We had to lift up the door and slam the door or it would stay open. This was a serious safety concern. This Best Western is really for a quick pit stop for truckers to stay the night but not to stay at for four nights. I tried the free breakfast and this was no good. There were ants running around the sugar. The offerings were slim and the coffee was gross. The pool I never went into but is was so tiny. Like I said this Sure Stay Hotel is a quick pit stop hotel. The one great thing about this Best Western is the location and the service.

Great price Rooms are well air conditioned, plenty of hot water in shower, rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable. Refrigerator in room worked so well it was freezing some of our items. Really enjoyed pool too! Employees are friendly and helpful. Only complaints are outside entrance to rooms and concrete stairs. And on Sat nights the bar across the street can be loud. We were there on a Sunday night as well and it was much quieter!

Very run down and needs a good cleaning. I’m giving 2 stars because the office manager at the front desk was very nice, and the air conditioner in the room worked great. I was very disappointed in my room not only because of how old and run down everything is, but how unclean it was. I will post pictures that speak for their self. Especially disappointing was that I could see daylight around the door and had numerous bugs/spiders in the room. The commode handle stuck with every flush and had to be adjusted to stop the flow of water. I don’t know if the bath towel was dirty, or stained, but I shouldn’t have to wonder, I would prefer it not be in the room I’m paying to stay in. Everything was dusty, there was hair on the floors, the hair drier only worked by pushing the reset button at the plug, the coffee maker was so dirty I would not have even considered using it. This is definitely a place that I would never stay again unless it was the absolute last resort. And no, I did not say anything to the kind lady at the front desk because this is obviously an owner/management issue. The lack of upkeep and lack of cleanliness should be addressed. I did ask if the motel is privately owned and was told “yes, it is part of the Best Western franchise, but privately owned.
