Location! Right next to the tram. An older lodge. Floors are a little worn from ski boot traffic, but I think that's a cool thing. Very clean, good beds and bedding, mini bar setup and helpful staff. Liked the coffee shop downstairs and the reciprocity with Snake River Lodge.

Overall very nice experience If you are looking to be pampered, the Four Seasons is down the road. If you're on a budget and want convenience, then this hotel is nice. Also, there is no free breakfast despite the advertisement. When you first enter, the hotel looks old and dingy. They really need to update their carpet because that is what gives the hotel a bad first impression. However. The rooms are very clean. For our stay, we would go downstairs for really good coffee and quick breakfast at the Cowboy Coffee Co. We would then drive 10 minutes to the Grand Teton National Park entrance. After a long day of hiking, we would enter our hotel room which was impeccably cleaned, the beds nicely made, and fresh towels in the bathroom. Finally, we ended the day at the back patio which had a nice hot tub and heated pool. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Very Nice Hotel and Good Location A nice hotel with nicely appointed rooms. The bed and pillows were comfortable and if it weren't for the air conditioner being a little noisy, I would have gotten a good nights sleep. I wanted to turn the AC off and open the window but there wasn't a screen and I didn't trust something crawling in overnight. The hotel is a good location for touring Moose-Wilson Road which has a lot of Moose sightings. Very friendly staff and plenty of parking. But be ready to take at least some stairs to take luggage to your room. I also thought the price was a bit much (plus 16% tax on the room), but I guess that's what they get in June in the Tetons.

staff was wonderful Let me start with the positive.... the staff at the Alpenhof treated us like family.... and that's the reason we will return. From the front desk to the restaurant manager to the young ladies that run the Cowboy coffee bar..... they went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The location also can't be beat.... (One left turn onto the main road and you're on your way to the Tetons.) If there's one thing that needs work it would be that the entire hotel needs to be updated..... I hope they do this because it's really a historic place in Wyoming .... Now on the other hand there was a real charm to rooms.... And you can bet that they were totally clean...... ALSO..... you are a 2 minute walk to one of the best Restaurants we ever ate at....THE MANGY MOOSE.... we ate in the restaurant, not the saloon..... Don't miss it.

Not worth the money This hotel has been purchased and the service has declined. There are usually no people at the front desk. Instead you are supposed to call a phone number for a hotel next door and no one picks up. Rooms are beat up and dirty. The free breakfast is at a different hotel you need to walk to! Beds needed to be replaced years ago. It’s not even close to being worth what they are trying to charge.
