Great stay My family stayed for several days a few weeks ago. We were comfortable the entire stay. The hotel is clean, newly renovated, and in a great location. Every staff member is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great too!

Good visit Pier and Treasure were the best cooks we have had in a hotel buffet breakfast. They kept the area clean and the food was cooked very well. They both were friendly and greeted us and other guests each morning. They constantly asked if we needed anything else like coffee, creamer,muffins, etc. The front desk manager was very nice and accommodating. We had an issue with the pull out bed sheets and the TV and they were both corrected within minutes. We will most definitely return to this location.

Walked in on another couple in a double booked room… thanks front desk. The cleanliness and peacefulness of the location made up for the shortcomings of the staff. We’ve stayed at IHG locations around the country for years and have never experienced what happened at this location. Upon check in the front desk worker was polite, but seemed very confused. We were handed keys to room 218, went up and opened the door to find two people already sleeping in the room. I felt so bad for the guests who were already in there. Keep in mind it was after midnight on a Wednesday. The front desk could only repeat to me that he had no idea how that happened. After about 20 minutes of stumbling through making new room keys, we made our way to our new room in hopes of it not being occupied. Breakfast was fair. The morning crew was much more attentive than the night crew. I surely hope the couple in the room we intruded on were offered a substantial discount for that mistake.

Not far from the Port Clean Rooms - nice staff - and not far from the Port of Galveston . Sonic , Starbucks and Buc-es near by ! Beds were comfortable and she sheets very soft. Breakfast was nice , area was clean and offered serval options . Very nice location at an affordable price especially compared to the island .

Customer service, non existent. The good things about this hotel, check-in was quick and easy with Fred or Craig, the hotel is pretty clean, the room was clean. The bad, the room smells like mildew, the air conditioner did not work well, it did not cool the room very well, one bath towel in the room for a family of four. Customer service is not an attribute that the employees or manager of the hotel seem to possess on the morning of 7/29/23. I was informed if I wanted/needed towels and wash cloths to get dressed and come down and get them. I tried speaking to the manager about the A/C not working properly and the towels, and was informed that one towel was sufficient for the booking and it was my fault that I did not tell them that a family of four was staying in a double bed room. But, my reservation on line clearly had four occupants listed. So, if you have any issues here at this property, anything and everything is on you. There is no such thing as hospitality at this property, even though that’s the industry they operate in. Just give us your money, you’re lucky we gave you a bed and a pillow. Good luck if you stay here. By the way there are at least 6 other properties around here to choose from. Go else where.
