VERY DISAPPOINTING Reserved a mobility accessible room. The bathroom had no handrails by the toilet, no low step shower, and no handheld shower. There was a gap between the carpet and the bathroom door that almost tripped my wife, who has had a stroke in the past. Also, there are defects in the 2nd floor hallway floor surface that are unsettling for a stroke victim with some balance issues. It is like there were holes in the concrete that were just carpeted over. The TV would have been able to stream a Firestick but there was no remote to change input. The TV remote in the room did not have a channel guide, nor a cursor to access the channel guide on the startup screen. I went to the desk to get another remote. That remote didn't even work to turn the TV on and off. I asked the clerk if the hotel had a printed channel guide and he said they did not. That left you with having to literally flip through all the channels to guess what you were watching since the only display on a channel was "43-1 no name." The mirror over the sink was cracked and had just been caulked with clear silicone instead of being replaced. There was no night light. The hair dryer did not work. When I went to the desk to get another one, clerk gave me a brand new one with a night light. Why wasn't this already installed in a "mobility accessible" room? Frankly, I was shocked this was a Choice Hotel since I thought Comfort Suites were improving. I seriously considered checking out and going down the road to the Hilton. The visit got off to a bad start at check-in when I stood at the desk for two minutes, no exaggeration, while the desk clerk was texting on his phone before he glanced up and I startled him. He never commented on me being a choice member (their rule, not mine) and there was no welcoming gift or any additional points reflected on the bill. This is just a place to sleep, nothing more. The bed was comfortable. The A/C worked. The breakfast was a full hot breakfast although there was no oatmeal or oatmeal packets available. So in answer to your question, I would never stay at this location again or recommend it.

Took our money The Health Department closed it down and we lost $366. Have called several times and always get runaround. We were traveling to a funeral in Texas. Never call Comfort Inn again.this is like rubbing salt in an open wound. Bad enough a loved one died.

Noisy, Dirty and Sketchy This is clearly where locals go to party. While it's clear that the place has been recently remodeled, it's still just trashy as heck. On our first night there we were woken up at 12:45am when our neighbors decided it was time to start blasting some music. I went over to ask them to knock it off... which they did for exactly five minutes. I complained to the front desk but the sole desk attendant was too busy checking people in to do anything about it. We gave up and packed our belongings to head to a different hotel - but we were talked into switching rooms and I was too tired to argue. Apparently the noisy guest was allowed to continue his party as I saw him glaring at me the next day. New room was indeed quieter - but I immediately regretted my decision when we passed a used dirty diaper that someone had thrown out of their room and into the hallway. The breakfast was disgusting, and there was trash everywhere. The stairwells smelled strongly of pot - and the same Whataburger cup was sitting on the railing the entire time we were there. Never again!

Needs a complete remodel and new management Very shady hotel. It’s old and run down. Bed had 2 tiny pillows provided. Had to ask for more. TV remote did not work, a non English speaking gal came up with a handful of remotes then left shortly thereafter after muttering something in Spanish. Desk guy came up half hour later with 10 more and found one to work. *** there was a homeless gal that was sleeping sitting up in the downing room when I arrived. She was sleeping on the floor in the laundry room while I did my wash a couple days later. Needless to say I didn’t leave anything unattended. Very old and rough.

Sport Traveling Family I have never experienced such a dreadful hotel stay. I had three rooms booked, they cancelled one without any form of communication to inform me. Couldn’t give me a reason why and wouldn’t allow me to speak to a manager. Told us there weren’t any rooms available but when we went to book online, rooms were available. Made us pay cash for the room and was told they could not give us a receipt. The rooms smelled like marijuana, cigarettes, and an entire bottle of Fabuloso. The carpet was stained everywhere and filthy. The elevator didn’t work and my mother is in a wheelchair so, we had to help her down two flights of stairs. The breakfast was a hysterical attempt at being edible. The eggs were cold as if they had just come out of the fridge. The hash browns were still frozen and the coffee tasted like water. At $125 a night, this place is taking you on a run for your money. I do not recommend any individual stay here.
