A very quiet and comfortable stay Stopped at the Calilo inn on our way to mount Adams. We booked last minute (due to our original motel booked being disgusting) and we’re greeted by a friendly attendant. We were able to get the junior suite which had a king size bed, stand up shower , and lots of room to prepare for our hike. The motel was convenient, comfortable and clean. Most importantly it was very quiet which led to a good night sleep. If your swinging through the Dalles I would encourage staying at this local business.

Ok for 1 night stay This place was ok for a 1 night stay. The room and bedding were clean. The mini fridge didn't have a freezer. It was hard getting into and out of the shower....you had to either have the bathroom door open and step into the entry way, or if you had the bathroom door closed, you had to squeeze yourself into the corner to open and close the shower door. We booked a King PET room but didn't realize that there was an additional pet fee. In addition, there was no where close for the dog to potty.

Good stop on the Columbia River Stayed here for one night. Definitely worth getting a river view room. Room was comfortable, with good air-conditioning, refrigerator and table and chairs. Breakfast and coffee were enough to get us started on our drive. Check in was quick and receptionist shared helpful information about the local restaurant.

A great night's sleep with awesome views.. The views are amazing, very comfy beds. Dog friendly, great staff and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Everyone was so helpful and nice. This place was very, very clean. You park right outside your door which makes it easy for luggage and keeping an eye on your vehicle.

Such a Pleasant Surprise I have to say I loved this place. The outside looks like a 1950s style roadside motel. Inside is quite different. The rooms are modern with beautiful decor. The views are amazing, overlooking the Columbia River, a bridge and a dam going into Washington State. The staff was terrific. They allowed us to change the date of our stay on short notice when plans during our vacation fell through and we had to make changes. The breakfast was the best of the three hotels we used during our trip. We even bought a couple of bottles of the Celilo Inn wine offered at the front desk.
