Comfort Inn & Suites

Great experience This is an amazing hotel everyone gets treated so nice and respectful here. The breakfast was amazing everything was clean and neat. Restaurants are close enough to walk to. I enjoyed my time here definitely book with this place because I loved it!

Staff was excellent! I will start by saying the staff at both check in and check out were friendly, efficient and helpful. The counter in the front lobby was definitely too high for them to see over and for me to speak with them. The staff working in the breakfast buffet were very nice, knew their job, and offered a variety of breakfast food. But the rooms were ready for a redo 15 years ago!! The drapes didn’t close all the way and there appeared to be a grease stain of some sort on the valance. The metal parts of the lamps were pitted/rusted and the shades were damaged and or soiled. The wood furniture was all banged up. The room had a small kitchenette with the counter surrounding the sink severely stained and damaged. The cleaning staff were excellent in asking if I needed anything as I stayed 4 nights. Very friendly. Dogs are allowed to stay and there were two within my room area as both were barking which surprised me. The computer area was front and center at the front desk which was helpful for use. From what I saw, the staff did the very best to accommodate me. I did book Expedia for the first three days and paid Comfort Inn for the fourth day. Management/Owners needs to work a system to update the rooms and hallways so the staff can be proud to do their job to the best of their ability.

Interesting stay Spent 30 minutes just trying to get in my room with maintenance helping and about 7 trips up and down the elevator. First room had a rusted microwave & spills on and around the microwave area. The second room seemed ok but shower had hair up the wall. And at 7:15 in the morning when I went to take a shower, there was NO HOT WATER.

The room had a small kitchenette with the counter surrounding the sink severely stained and damaged. There was no drain in the bathtub and the hairdryer turned on as soon as it was plugged in because the switch was broken. The hairdryer was barely attached to the wall with one screw. A sign at check in alerted guests as they checked in that they were having a problem with the hot water. I had hoped by morning there would be an improvement but it was tepid at best. This was by no means a “choice” hotel!

Nonsmoking Hotel? Stale Weed Stench Don’t book through a third party like Trip Advisor, Expedia, or Kayak! You’ll be treated like the dirt on floors and walls: rudely ignored. The room stank so badly of stale weed that I put out the DO NOT DISTURB sign and left! I walked away from a weekend that cost me $$$ because of the filth and nasty attitude. You didn’t book directly through us? Sorry, I can’t help you. Choice Hotels are off my list because of this one horrible experience.
