Nice hotel with kind considerate owners. Nice clean hotel with a beautiful mountain view. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious! We had booked for three nights but my husband was having difficulty with the altitude. Since we had to cancel for one of our nights due to his health concerns the owner's were terrific and immediately refunded the one day since we had to leave a day early. Tombstone is a delightful town with lots of western history.

creepy Location is great. However, upon approach, the entire complex turns out to be in need of renovation. There are dead insects everywhere, the plaster is crumbling, the pool is disastrous. The mattresses are creepy and dirty. Stick grows out of the cast. If you haven't seen enough animals in the desert, you've come to the right place (roaches in the room, tarantula in the breakfast room, rattlesnake dead in the driveway). The air conditioning smells very bad. You don't feel safe with the outdated doors.

Bedbug bites I had written my review saying hotel was ok but 12 hours later I developed horrendous bites on my leg and stomach. The place should be fumigated or burnt down. We were also interrogated on arrival by a man who was very difficult to understand but this paled into insignificance beside the bug bites which spoiled the rest of my trip.

Stay away! Stay away! My husband booked this room without reading reviews. I don't know how anyone gave this place more than one star. I was traveling with three adult children on vacation. The first room they gave us had a buzzing noise and we knew we couldn't sleep with that noise so we unplugged the clock thinking that could have been it. When doing so we discovered leftover candy and wrappers under the table. Then we found mold on the shower and dead bugs in the drawers. We asked for another room. The second room had chips on the floor and we were there just long enough to see a live bug to know we weren't staying in the place. We went to tell them we were not staying there and wanted our money refunded. They had charged us $40 extra dollars at check in because I had four people in our double queen. I had paid that with my credit card at check in. My husband had booked the room through Expedia and they told me I would have to contact Expedia for a refund. I said, fine, but at least refund the $40 I just paid you because we aren't staying here. He said "we used the room" and he couldn't refund the $40. I said, "We didn't use the room. The first room was unacceptable so we asked for a new room..the second room we were there long enough to find it unacceptable but we didn't do anything in the room. Our bags were still packed." All he said is, "I don't care." Do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress of going through a night like I did and go anywhere but this place!

Please DO NOT STAY HERE We found LIVE BUGS at this hotel and when we told the manager that our was unfit to stay in he quite literally told us that he “did not care.” My goodness I wish I could be making that up (pictures for reference). There was mold on the walls, ceilings, and showers. Our window was broken and would not shut. Our room had a loud buzzing noise. We tried to ask for another room because there were no other rooms available in tombstone, and the next room was the same. After we saw LIVE BUGS we went to the front desk and that’s when he told us that he did not care and wouldn’t give us a refund because we had already “used the room” - we were there for an hour max trying to figure out what to do. I am not hard to please, but this was the dirtiest hotel I had ever seen and the managers just wanted your money. That’s fine, they took ours but don’t let them take yours. We ended up going next door to the Grand Hotel and had a much more pleasant experience.
