Casitas at Sabino Springs

Very happy choice! Will not disappoint! This property is amazing! Huge, clean and safe in a gated community. The bedrooms were well appointed with beautiful views from all angles. We will for sure come back here to stay next time we are in Tucson, I researched many places and I am glad I picked Casitas at Sabino Springs.

Apartment feeling First time in beautiful Tucson. We didn’t know where to stayed, so we decided to stayed at Sabino Casitas. It’s more than an apartment complex than casitas, though. There is only a few units in the complex. It is located in a nice gated community. The unit we stayed had 2 spacious bedrooms/2baths. To get to the apartment, customers had to park close to trash cans. Even though it was clean, it didn’t smell clean and fresh. Place needs to be updated. No welcoming goodies or even a complementary water bottle.

Gorgeous Views But Not Quiet The Casitas getaway really has been fantastic, on so many levels. Jose called us before we arrived to explain check-in, which went very smoothly courtesy of the 24/7 guardhouse. The condo is clean, well furnished, very well supplied with all you could need in the kitchen, and full of modern amenities, (although, there are no makeup mirrors or hairdryers). The beds and pillows were really comfortable and we slept as well as we would have at home. Lovely to see bunnies all over the golf course and hear the coyotes at night. The only downside was the noise. We were in 203 over a holiday weekend, and the master bedroom and living room overlook the first tee. Golfing began bright and early and we could make out almost every conversation. In the condo below us, we could hear conversation, music (could make out which song they were listening to) and even snoring in the middle of the night. This morning at 6:45 a.m. the greens were mowed and at 7:10 an industrial blower cleared the pathways. We've had an absolutely wonderful time, but it hasn't been quite as quiet as I thought it would be.

THE FINEST, just FABULOUS Between the quality of construction, modern security furnishing and professional friendly staff this has made our rare vacation absolutly the most relaxing and fulfilling vacation spot we have ever encountered. The peaceful and quiet setting, the romantic evening sunset in the foothills overlooking downtown Tucson? What more could one ask for at an excellent price. Thank so much for your hospitality JUAN!!! You made our stay worth a million $$$$. The balcony with us having coffee in the AM watching the wildlife on the well manicured desert Arizona National Golf course backdrop and topping it off with drinks in the evening. We could not have asked for a more delightful place to stay.

Value, Location, Peacefulness Trip Advisor provides a good service with reviews on the Castias at Sabino Springs. After reading most of them, I called the Casitas booking number and discussed the options with Jose, the Casitas manager. I explained to Jose that I would like to book one of the upstairs units, and I left that conversation with Unit 203, upstairs, in my notes. Unfortunately, when TCASS send a confirmation email, the room number is not listed. I would very much like to see that policy changed before my next visit. When I arrived, my entry package received at the security gate was for room 102. I was disappointed. But this is where the fork in the road typically happens when a room change occurs. I called Jose and left a message asking for a return call. His call return was received in a reasonable amount of time. Once on the phone, Jose reviewed his notes and agreed to the oversight. With all of the upstairs units booked for that night, his best offer was to have us switch to Unit 201 the following morning. The staff was dialed in on this reparation and handled the switch promptly and efficiently mid morning. Special kudos the the staff member that handled the swap. Here's where Trip Advisor's reviews are so valuable. The upstairs units are nicer that the downstairs. I will only book the upstairs for future stays. Thank you Jose for being so effective!
