Great play to stay Hubby and I spent two night at this Tucson hotel. The location was great. The room, bed and pillows were great too. Breakfast was included and delicious. We were happy there was a nice Mexican restaurant right in the same parking lot. Hotels workers were all very nice. The only negative was our room had a funny food odor that stuck around for the 2 nights we were there. Other than that everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Awful front desk Front desk didi Serrano was so rude and belittling. She acted like she was helping but she cancalled my reservation without my consent and accepted no responsibility. Left my daughter and I without a place to stay for my birthday weekend. Awful experience!!

Disappointing Lodging Experience I’m a loyal Hilton Hotels member and have stayed at many Homewood Suites hotels over the years, but this was our first stay at this particular Tucson property. Unfortunately, it will likely be our last. Our disappointments with this property included 1) not being greeted as Hilton Honors guests (after traveling for 24 hours), 2) difficulty getting a suite with a requested safe bathroom (we finally had to settle for smaller suite with a view of a rooftop, instead of the mountains or pool) and 3) difficulty getting housekeeping. On the positive side the location was convenient and the bed was comfortable. All in all we’ll look to stay at another hotel the next time we visit family in Tucson.

Bad for families I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying with small children. We were in the pool when a huge group (20-30) of teenagers came and started doing cannonballs and splashing until our kids were crying and wanted to leave. Several hotel staff walked by during this and said nothing. When we went to get out, we found they had thrown their wet stuff all over our dry clothes and phones that were sitting on a table. That night we heard this same group of teenagers running up and down the halls screaming while we tried to sleep. The next day we went to the Desert Museum and came back to regroup before dinner. Our kids were being noisy but it was 5 pm and we were only back for 45 minutes so we let it go. The front desk lady came and banged on our door asking us to be quiet and then called our room about two minutes later complaining we still weren’t quiet enough. I’ll admit we could have been quieter, but considering the time of day and the level of noise we had experienced in the hotel, it did not seem like a big deal. Also, anyone who has toddlers knows it takes more than two minutes to quiet them down. She clearly didn’t go after the high schoolers who were loud for HOURS in the middle of the night with the same ferocity. Other reasons this isn’t good for kids: giant kitchen knives placed in the bottom drawer in the kitchen (found my two year old with one), loud music across the street in the plaza until 11 at night, and really awful breakfast. Will not return. Do not recommend if you’re not 17.

Exhausted Property Business traveler, and I routinely stay at Hilton properties. This Homewood Suites is one of the most tired properties I have come across. The rooms....let's start with all of the furniture, and I mean everything, is outdated, stained and uncomfortable. The mattresses have gullies, pillows are flat, and the blankets...you might as well cover up with tissues. The living room sofa was so horribly stained, you didn't dare sit on it. The breakfast is one of the most poorly run as far as selection and service that I have come across. I booked a premium room....snacks, Keurig, etc. Neither of these items in the room. When I asked about the Keurig, I was told that the property had removed them from the rooms since they ran out of K-Cups. As far as the snacks, I was told to help myself to $10 in snacks at the front desk, and they would credit my room. The parking lots, esp on the side of the hotel are very dark. The only plus is the plaza across the parking lot. Good restaurants, a coffee place, and live music. I think i would steer clear of this location while in Tucson.
