Nice easy-to-find place in Tucumcari This is a fairly big LaQuinta set back from the highway ( farther than the Best Western), and with easy access to gas, fast food and some restaurants. Friendly staff and quiet rooms.

Tucumcari, NM Nice facility. Breakfast was pretty good. Bed was good, room was clean. Only problem was the internet would not connect.

Great Desert Hotel Great stay! The hotel was clean and pet friendly, which is a huge plus for our family. We booked 2 rooms for our extended family, and the a/c in one room wasn’t working. The hotel staff quickly changed our room at now charge. Breakfast was decent, biscuits and gravy were good. The pool area was outstanding with a large pool and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here with family and pets.

Passing Thru Just passing thru after a long ten hour drive. Wanted a cool room and good sleep. The A/C would NOT stay on and it was 92 degrees outside. It would come on and off even with putting fan on hold. Lots of barking dogs in the hallways, overall not a restful sleep. The town itself is pitiful..no decent restaurants and most buildings abandoned. Won’t be back…
