Great Place to get a Room for $80-ish ! It is very comforting to find a nice all around hotel (in California) to stay at that is decent for $80/nite. They give you a hot breakfast (but they were out of eggs when we got to the breakfast place at 8:00AM), but every thing else was very nice and straight forward.

Was good in 2023, not so much in 2024 !!! We stayed here last year and enjoyed the decent pricing and breakfast, so we decided to stay again. It wasn't as pleasant as last year. They require you to pay a $150 deposit plus your full bill in advance. They get you to sign a paper that says if you stael anything, smoke in the room or sneak in a pet they can charge you $150. But here's the thing, then why have you sing this if they are going to charge you anyways (like they didi to us) ??? I made a stink about it upon leaving and they did give us back a credit the same day (but they tell you it can take up to 7 days to get your $$'s back) ! I know that things are getting haywire out there but no other hotel (including other Comfort Suites we used on this trip) do this. It may be the city or area that this hotel is in and if that is the case we will avoid this area in the future on our annual migrations north & south.

OK, if you don't mind strong chemical smells in your room. The so-called suites at this location are really a slightly larger room with half wall dividers, and a very small couch squeezed in. The appointments are nice and the room was spotlessly clean. We only wish management would pay as much attention to pet urine odors as they do to smoke. The chemicals the housekeepers used to cover up the pet odor almost knocked us out when we first opened the door. We went back up to reception (before moving in) to ask if all rooms were like that but no personnel were behind the counter, nor anywhere in sight. There was no one available to discuss moving us to another room. Perhaps management should take the same approach as their smoking policy and totally ban cute little lap dogs that pee all over everything when left alone in a strange room.

A+++ We had another great stay at Comfort Suites in Tulare. Henry, at the front desk, was so pleasant and helpful. Always a smile on his face. Rooms are spacious, very clean and quiet. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Not a Comfort Suites at all I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The day of arrival they gave me a room on the second floor, without elevator. After removing all my things from the suitcases, I realized that there was no internet. After almost two hours trying, together with the friendly guy at the reception, to solve the problem and call the internet company that was not cooperative at all, they upgraded me to a 2-bed room for people with reduced mobility (which I had not booked). I booked this hotel because of the pool, however I was never able to use it as every day there were 2 families with very aggressive children occupying it completely. They seemed familiar to the hotel owners because they moved freely and even ate using all the tables and chairs. At the time of check-out I requested a discount from the expensive rate that I paid for the inconvenience suffered. With total contempt for my person, they kept me waiting for half an hour to tell me that there was nothing they could do. Very unpleasant experience. There were many hotels in the area and I made the mistake of stopping at this one.
