Extended Stay America Suites Olympia Tumwater

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in! This hotel is an absolute dump! Homeless and druggies hanging out inside and outside of this hotel. The floors and carpet are filthy! Hallways have not been vacuumed in decades. Trash on the floors. Unidentifiable dark red stains on floor. Thin worn mattress on wire frame with no boxspring. We are in disbelieve we spent over $200 To stay here. This place needs to be inspected By the health department.

Be Careful. They Cancelled Confirmed Reservation On Day of Arrival At 10am on day of arrival with confirmed reservation, the Assistant Manager Melissa called to advise they overbooked and would not honor my reservation. When I kindly inquired about the circumstances and options, she hung up on me. Be careful!

Overall a very good experience There was minor issues at first that annoyed me. The heater stopped working, the toilet clogged easily. However, I stayed for 2 months and the great customer service really helped soothe my irritation. Plus the room was very clean. Front desk people were generally amazing. One guy gave me slightly incorrect info that housekeeping would only come by once every 15 days. That turned out to be wrong. They were there once a week, either Monday or Tueaday and that was a very nice touch. I'd stay there again. When I initially gave poor feedback, the property manager reached out to me via e-mail. That was nice. Everything turned around and it ended up a great experience. Most importantly, the bed was fairly comfortable. The shower bath was clean. These things are important to me. They delivered on that promise. The hallway could use a remodel. It's rather depressing with the dingy brown color. But if they remodeled they'd have to raise rates, sooo. There's that. My neighbors - I wondered how some of them could afford this. I thought it would be a business traveler destination, which is what I was, but really you are surrounded by some folks that don't appear to have a lot of money, FYI. Just so people are not surprised. Expect Marijuana smells and beer boxes piled up in the trash room. There was some boys who would sit in the parking lot in the back of a truck on clear nights and drink beer. A car got broken into one night and I was warned by a friendly neighbor to park in the front. Minor annoyances like everything I just said, but overall it was great. I would stay there again.

NOT safe This hotel has ALOT of Marijuana use, I could not open my window to let fresh air in, that's pretty bad. Management does not enforce laws around smoking 25 feet away from buildings despite this being the law and it was reported. The place is trashy with bottles of "highball" scattered throughout, nobody seems to care. I stayed for 3 weeks and observed a lot of poor hotel Management, too many issues to list and a waste of time when concerns are ignored.

We will reccomend Extended Stay America in Olympia to all who are interested. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and comfortable. We were there for Olympia Harbor Days Art Festival and plan to return next year. We will be recommended stay to all who are interested.
