Such a disappointment!!! Bed was good, butttt…the ROOM was very dated, musty, strong smell, stained washcloth, sticky-tacky carpet, bathroom needed attention. BREAKFAST—-horrible!!! Wrapped “sandwiches” with a flat “egg” and cheese that turned soggy when heated as recommended, wrapped bread for toast, jelly was solid and not possible to spread, few cereals in bowls and wrapped in plastic, maple syrup but no pancakes or waffle options. We weren’t alone in our disappointment…

Average Motel A perfectly adequate average motel a slightly above average price. A functionally obsolete structure but with well done, if sill patchwork upgrades. The faux hallways on the one story wings were well done, as was the two story addition.

Convenient location before starting your trip to the Adirondacks. Our room was spotless with comfortable full beds. There were plenty of plugs at bedside, desk and wall for your electronics. The bathroom was a little on the small side but was laid out for function and there was enough room on the vanity for toiletries for two people unless you're high maintenance. There were grab bars in the tub and shower and there was plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. The hotel was convenient to plenty of restaurants, some within walking distance, and to downtown Utica. Tony at the front desk was very friendly and had great recommendations for close restaurants. The only disappointment in our stay here was the pitiful breakfast selection. The typical BW "to go" bag was a step up from what we had to pick from here.

Not typical of Best Western facilities This is a former motor lodge with a glass 'hallway' linking the rooms to the lobby. Bed was excellent. Heat was fine and needed to compensate for draft under room door. Facility is clean and functional, just not what I expect from BW.

CLC Drivers Beware If your a rewards members, expect a fight to get your night credit & points that you deserve. This hotel property management will not give your points or stay credit. They don't care that us truckers are paying most of their winter bills & don't think we should be rewarded for our loyalty. Breakfast was a disaster, night auditor was pulling dead skin from his hands, instead of checking me out or cleaning the breakfast room disaster. Room was clean and comfortable, 2nd shift was awesome. My only complaint is how they treat their guests.
