Days Inn by Wyndham Uvalde

Worst place to stay There were multiple issues with our trip but the most concerning was the black mold all over the bathroom ceiling and left behind trash and hair from the previous guest who stayed there.

Nice property, but needs better maintenance and attention to details Stayed one night. Nice property in relatively quiet area. However, walls are thin and I could hear a dog barking in another room. Spacious room with old carpeting which had some stains. No luggage rack Amenities included microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. The fridge was set at the lowest temperature (which will damage fruit and vegetables) and it couldn't be adjusted since the knob was missing. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Well lit desk area and plenty of power outlets. In the bathroom, the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure, but the shower head shot water at 45°, and the angle could not be adjusted. After using and flushing the toilet once upon arrival, the toilet tank wasn't filling anymore and therefore the toilet couldn't be flushed anymore. I reported the problem to the front desk in the early morning, but they said they didn't have anyone available. I fiddled with it and eventually got the flapper to close and the tank to fill again, but it looked like the entire mechanism needed replacement. Check-out was at 11:00 and I had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. At 10:15 someone knocked on the door (which I didn't hear because I was in the bathroom) and then walked right in, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign, claiming that he wanted to check the toilet. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was included; overall not bad (yogurt, milk, cereal, fresh fruit, packaged muffins, waffles). Overall a nice property, but needs better maintenance and attention to details. Staff must be trained to respect "Do Not Disturb" signs.

Neglected property. Staff apathetic. Bathroom disgusting. This was a stop along a road trip to camping. We didn’t have high expectations but this still topped the list of worst places ever.

Celebrating Birthday My room was cool and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. I would go back and stay at the Days Inn in Uvalde. breakfast was eggs sausage waffles, cereal, coffee, sweet rolls. The rooms were quiet, considering we slept on the bottom floor.

Pleasant stay All was nice, only minor thing was could have had a bit more options for breakfast, like tea and yogurt more fruit. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was going through a remodel, our room was already updated. Rooms were clean.
