Great stay! Along with another couple we visited the cities to bike. We chose this hotel due to its proximity and access to multiple bike trails. The hotel was modern and clean with a great breakfast. We stayed on the first floor near the elevator and did not experience any problems with noice. The pool and hot tub area have a few rough spots but both are functional and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Nice hotel with great rooms but just ok common areas. I stayed here for two weeks while working in the area. The hotel is conveniently located to the highway and easy to get into and out of. First of all, the rooms seem to be recently updated, in great shape, and very clean and comfortable. Also, the breakfast area seems newer, and the food is very good, with a decent assortment of items. My only gripe is that the common areas aren't up to the same quality as the rooms. The elevator is very noisy, (they do have a sign saying that the elevator company is working on it, but that it is safe to use), the hallways are aged, walls are patched in places and not painted, one hallway had a bag of garbage sitting there for the better part of the week, and the entryway is not very warm and inviting. Walking into the guest room, it feels like two very different hotels. On the plus side, everyone I dealt with there was very friendly and very helpful. There is also a great bar/restaurant that can be accessed through a hallway from the lobby, so that's a plus. I would stay here again for the guest rooms and breakfast alone. I hope they have a plan to update the common areas, so the entire experience is a good as the guest rooms are.

One night stay here Sat night in Jan - avg My wife, I and two kids stayed at this HIX for one night in Jan while my daughter was playing in a local volleyball tourney. Location pretty easy to find, parking ample. Check in was quick with a nice gentleman who said 'he doesn't work here but he's doing the best he can'. And he did. Did give the IHG Plat welcome amenity just fine. Room was double queen, clean, just fine. Shower pressure great. Breakfast the next morning was located in a variety of locations including the lobby and back meeting room, as their breakfast room is being torn up and renovated. So, a little inconvenient there but not horrible. Food selection is good and better than avg covid hotel breakfast. All in all fine stay but hotel was in a bit of disarray and stay was nothing special. When the new brekkie room is done prob would have given 4 star.

"bad wedding party, otherwise nice place" We happened to come in on a sat. night when we were the onlg guest's not with a wedding party. unfortunatly the next room decided to keep the party going late into the night. even getting off duty officer to knock on door did little good. otherwise this was a very nice hotel. the mgr and staff were great. we shipped our bike boxes out to them and they held on to them for 3 week's till our return. mgr also helped us get a ride out to minn. st fair on our return. the sports bar next door was nothing special. the mgr and staff went out of the way to help us out. just don't go on a full weekend full of wedding parties.
