Great Stay this time once we got Our Room We visited this location again and had a mostly good stay. I booked the best room in the hotel, the 1 Bedroom suite. It was just a few dollars more at the rate that I booked, and I didn't have to worry/negotiate an upgrade due to my Diamond status. It turned out that there was only 1 of this type available due to some recent leaks? I'm glad they hadn't overbooked this type! We were making great time and had arrived in Tifton for lunch before noon. I was going to call the hotel and let them know of our early arrival since it was too late to add such status on the website. I couldn't find their number on the IHG app and decided just to take a chance. We arrived about 1:30 and had to wait over an hour for them to clean one room! The cleaning was excellent; there must have been some messy people the night before? The room had a big room with a king-sized bed and more plus a view of the pool area and the railroad just south of the hotel. Noise wasn't an issue since I only heard one train, and we were still awake. There was another room with 2nd TV, seating area with table (where we had our Chinese takeaway), and more. The bathroom had a tub so I got to soak my sore feet. As is the norm now, all bathroom amenities are in squeeze bottles! All was good with the room so it was worth the extra $ even though I got the great Summer Savings 25% off rate! I probably paid less than most who had standard rooms! As IHG Diamond, I receive breakfast as one of my choices. They also gave me welcome points since we had to wait over an hour in the lobby. Mary, who I think was the lady mentioned in my December 2023 review, was great as last time. I had a veggie omelet with cheese, home fries, and toast. Other half had sausage & biscuit breakfast with eggs and bacon. We both had coffee, and I drank lots of water, refilling often from the pitcher Mary brought. I forgot about juice, but that would have been included as well. I can only drink V8 or tomato juice due to high sugar in fruit juices, but I'm not sure if that choice was available. In conclusion, it's nice to have a freshly prepared hot breakfast. If I lose my Diamond status, I would still pre-book breakfast here since it's about half price, if booked in advance! They may start a buffet breakfast in the near future, but I would try that too! We received a coupon for 10% off at their restaurant/lounge, Azalea's, but we didn't use since it's only good on food or drinks but not both, if it's like December plus we got Chinese takeaway for dinner and had included breakfast. I'm not drinking until after bloodwork next week so coupon had no use on this visit. It used to be better years ago when they gave drink coupons and 1/2 price appetizers, but those days are over! Check-out went quickly, but morning manager was surprised when I told her of our 1 hour + wait for them to clean 1 room. Car was safe and undamaged in one of 3 IHG Diamond reserved parking spaces. We will return on future trips to north Georgia to break up the long drive. Thanks for a relaxing, after we got our room, stay!

A perfect stop on our cross country drive. A perfect stop in very way. The room was great: roomy, comfortable, well accessorized. The restaurant offered an excellent choice of delicious items at reasonable prices. Staff was impeccable from check in to check out. We unfortunately left an important item behind at check-out. The entire staff, including Bill, the manager, took great effort to ensure that our belongings were returned to us.

Elevator Problems Hotel was OK. Problem with elevators that should have been told to us when we checked in. Several people at front desk, but no mention of this, although they were clearly having issues. When we returned from dinner there was an elevator repair man riding with passengers in the elevator. That kind of problem should be told to guests, we don't know if someone got stuck or what the problem was. It took a long time to for the elevator to come so we knew something wasn't right. Our room was OK. I needed another pillow and none of the ones in the closet had cases. I had to call down for one.

A Better Choice Ended up staying here after attempt to stay at #1-rated hotel failed. Had a great experience. Check-in was easy; after driving all day, much appreciated. Room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The morning breakfast was very good. This hotel needs to be rated better.
