Good mattress and pillows We slept well. Comfortable mattress and pillows. That’s what really counts on a road trip. Good TV. Reasonable price. Free breakfast. Desk staff helpful. Parking in front of door for easy loading and unloading bags. Located off freeway. Would stay again.

Sad dirty and run down Wow was just shocked at how dirty and run down this Quality Inn was, certainly not up to Choice standards! Our room (223) had at least 20 dead flies in the window, curtain was off hooks, heavy dust on baseboards and even heavy dirt on iron/iron board ( I cleaned iron prior to using). Freezer needed cleaning, bedspread hadn’t been laundered in a while and chair should be thrown in trash. No light bulb in desk lamp. Lobby and room smelled of heavy chemicals; very sad state of a hotel. Positive notes: staff are friendly, professional and just a delight. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare…eggs were not very good.

Old Dirty and Rough This is great if you like old school ghetto rooms. Old. Dirty and certainly needs updating. The smoke alarm beeped all night. The bed sunk in. The door wouldn't shut right and the tub was discolored. There was a 70's something green lava looking lamp that added a special touch. Just pass this place up.

Quality Inn Van Horn TX Check in was smooth since a new person learning. Then lead lady took a phone call helping someone get cheap hotels rate. Anyway she or he did not acknowledge us as Elite or tell us about our points! When we got to room the fire alarm was on the floor so took it to office. She got maintenance and when they came no new alarm because Monday they are having all new put in. Even if they put it up it wouldn’t work!! She helped with address to Cattlemen Restaurant but they don’t have good reviews. We went to Hotel El Capitan instead. Nice place Good food! The Quality Inn next to I-10. They need better windows & thick door to help with truck noise! Could clean corners better!! Love new up light mirror!

Ok Place Pretty good for Quality Inn. I normally avoid them unless I know someone who has recommended it because the Quality can vary quite a bit. Looks like an old converted Holiday Inn. Good conversion. Everything works and it was very clean. Breakfast was the usual fried bacon, sausage and eggs with a waffle machine. Nothing to get excited about. Plenty of parking and very close to I-10
