Great place to stay in Vancouver for the price. Very friendly staff, we checked in really late and they were super nice and welcoming. The hotel is older but very clean. The room was nice and clean. It can be updated as far as decor, but it is fine. They have a breakfast that is very nice and they also offer EV charging if you need it. It is a great place to stay for the price and you can walk to the waterfront and Ester short park. Not fancy but clean and nice.

THEY MAXED MY CARD FOR 5 HOUR NAP/ STAY!!!! DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CARD TO BE CHARGED MORE THAN ONCE!!!LOCK IT! They charged my card till they could not charge it anymore! The cost was 155$ used a credit card with a limit of 500$ they maxed it out by “accident” the idiot clerks all acted like it was not their fault or even a big deal they even tried arguing how many times they charged it and even though it was at check in then again at 9:08 then one more time at 9:21 but it was the system that did it well I work at hotels myself and it is not the system it’s negligence and nobody caring to review notes ! thank god I didn’t need to use that card for anything else because they took everything

Great Option in Vancouver! I really enjoyed my stay here. While there isn’t a lot in the immediate vicinity (though Black Angus is right next door), it’s still in a convenient part of Vancouver, next to the highway which allows quick access to Portland or Downtown Vancouver. My room was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t notice any noises outside or from other rooms, so falling asleep was no issue. They included a complimentary breakfast which has a nice selection of items. A minor suggestion that the hotel could benefit from some renovations to enhance its charm further. Additionally, a reduction in single-use plastics could align with eco-conscious practices, although these are minor considerations in an otherwise wonderful experience. A special shout out to the staff, Abby and Destiny, as well as the woman who maintained the breakfast area. All were incredibly nice, professional, and helpful. This is a great option in Vancouver for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed, and a little grossed out! I understand that construction/remodeling causes some issues. But the state of the hallways was really gross. My room was literally filthy! The floors (both carpet and tile) were sticky! When I walked around in socks, the bottom of them were nearly black afterward. The bedding was dirty, not stained... but dirty. There was a huge gap under the door, I had to roll a towel and stuff it against the door for privacy/piece of mind. Reception staff in the mornings/afternoons were friendly, but the night clerk wasn't very welcoming. Upon arrival on my way to my room, a half naked, drunk man nearly steamrolled over me while exiting the elevator, that is not really the hotels fault, but still left a sense of uneasiness. Breakfast was okay, and the mattress was extremely comfortable, pretty sure the mattress was brand new, so that is a plus. But, everything else about the stay was less than comfortable.

Learn to listen! WTF Comfort Inn! You don't conduct maintenance during a guest stay, especially when the guest gets in at 5:00am from working the day before and requested from the front desk not to be bothered or disturbed until 4:00pm so the guest CAN SLEEP! Can I come to your home and knock loudly on your door at 4:00am in the morning and interrupt your sleep so I can borrow your vacuum! I am highly irritated and disappointed in the management and staff at this location. You ignored my request and decided to knock anyways - loudly on my door just to take measurements for curtains - can you read, WHEN IT CLEARLY SAYS DO NOT DISTURB!!! What degenerate school did your staff graduate from? Did your parents ever teach you to respect their request when they told you NOT to bother them! I didn't realize I was staying at a one star, low rated - ghetto hotel. You must have just graduated from Walmart or the Community Care Center with a certificate that read, “if you have a pulse, we will hire you!” I will start making my reservations elsewhere. I will post this experience everywhere on social media. You have a lot to learn about the service industry. I would start by looking up the word “Comfort.” Learn and apply the meaning and definition and then go back to customer service school and learn the meaning and definition of the word “service” and begin coaching your staff on how to follow instructions and requests by the customer. As for the little man, Ronnie Nelson who claims to be the GM, he needs to be fired and relieved of his responsibilities.
