Our booking was canceled by receptionist because we had DIABETIC ALERT SERVICE DOG. Our booking was canceled by receptionist because we had DIABETIC ALERT SERVICE DOG. Explanation was made that manager doesn't like any kind of dogs no matter if it's a service dog or not and if he find out that there's a dog on the property he will kick you out even in the middle of the night and you will lose your money because you will not get any refund!!! I'm sure that the manager and all the personnel of the hotel must be educated about the ADA Federal Law!

Travel Lodge Venice FL Horrible hotel. TV did not work, no ice machine, toilet leaked, sink partially clogged. Office did not open until 8 AM.

Uncaring and scalding water Stayed in room 110. The tub/shower could not be used as the water came out scalding hot. Both husband and I tried several times to adjust water temperature. The escutheon faucet plate was loose from the wall. Tile floors were dirty turning bottom of feet filthy. Walls were very marked up and in desperate need of painting. About 9 pm this was reported to front desk. In the morning we spoke to manager? owner? (grey haired guy) requesting partial refund. He said since we slept there, no refund. When I asked if he wanted to risk a very poor review by not giving us a partial refund he said he didn't care as he gets bad reviews all the time! For someone in the hospitality business, he should care. I wrote to Wyndham since their brand is associated and they just had the hotel employee call me which did not resolve anything,

Disgusting place We had a noise complaint around 11:30 pm. The front desk person said he talked to the people about it. In a few minutes after we returned to our room it started all over again. So we left. We called the next day to talk to the General manger. Amazing he wasn't available. I spoke to the person on duty. He was condescending when I wanted a refund.I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

BEDBUGS We left the property at 3am due to being bitten by bedbugs. Room 122, See photos. No compensation was offered. Our possessions and car now have to undergo quarantine and treatment. Don't stay here!!
